I think I'll probably hit the road on Monday morning heading south .

I've ordered the ABS sensor.

Sold the car last night used the money from that this morning to buy some euros , then took the mh for a drive to Kirkcaldy to fill up with lpg at Morrisons , first time that's happened at an lpg pump but as soon as I connected the nozzle the pump started filling by itself without me having to press the button.... very weird , anyway it took £22 worth to fill up. Their diesel was at £1.56 too so just filled up with diesel while I was there.

I think I'll probably hit the road on Monday morning heading south .

Still a few jobs to do on the van before I go and I've still some stuff to pack in it. No idea where I'm gonna put it lol.

Look after yourself Tam , just been through similar experience with my mother-in-law.
A change of scenery and some warm sun on your back would definitely help right now.

My reversing lights ain't working on the camper , checked fuses all OK. No power at the light so I'm guessing it might be the reverse switch on the gearbox. I doubt I'd get a replacement now before I head off which is a pain in the ass. Might have to get uncle lenny to have a look at it

Not sure where he is to be honest. I'll have to look at a few stops on way down as my ferry isn't till Friday so I'll have 2 or 3 nights on route I think.

So suggestions of places to see or stop on the west side heading south are welcome. I'll be heading down a74, m6 etc . Get to uncle lennys either Wednesday night or Thursday morning .

Nearer to ,we are right on the a50 but you can't get off here you have to get off in Blyth bridge or go to uttoxeter and back again.

Tam, be careful he's got an ulterior motive ... he's bought himself a crappy pod coffee machine and is desperate to finish off the crappy pods by giving loads of the crappy stuff to unsuspecting visitors ... don't want you to end up with 'tractor tum' before your holiday!
