Have you tried Macmillan nurses, they might be able to help out a little.

When my mother was dying last year with a very aggressive cancer we had Home Ward involved, who provided everything she needed to remain at home and have some dignity. They provided bed, chair, all aids such as commode etc as well as nursing care and night sitter. Also made sure the pain control was in place. It would be worth seeing if there is similar provision in your area. It was NHS hospital resource.

Should be all finished tomorrow had him moaning about my lovely tidy working practice, I like to get value for money and use all the avalible space. Not easy when 3 dogs decide to sit behind you on the seat when you are trying to work.

He has been whinging all day about weather saying its too hot it has only been 28° C, had to put the C in as being a Scot he probably thinks 28° F is hot.
