I thought most of you knew what I bought but anyway this Is it

1998 , iveco ,rwd, lhd, 6.8 metres, 4200kg truck chassis. 60k miles , has Gaslow twin lpg, solar panel ( 200w I think) cruise control, reupholstered etc.

It does need work , it's had an idiot with a silicone gun near it. 🙄, needs underside rubbed down and painted, only motd till 4th July. But I got it for £10k and I reckon that wasn't a bad price.

I'll post some of my own photos etc later as I've got a lot of sorting out to do with the vans as lots of interest in the vario and I need to clear stuff out of it for folk viewing. Still juggling lol

What does it go like ,I thought that one was in Gainsborough
It was in Gainsborough I went there yesterday . It goes OK, gears take some getting used to as back to front and on the wrong side lol . But it has plenty oomph for an old bus . Finding it had cruise control was a bonus.

Got my knees washed from the leaking windscreen and the offside door mirror fell off in Doncaster which made lhd interesting on the motorway but otherwise it got me home. It needs time spent on it and tlc to get it sorted. Every window has leaked and is covered in clear silicone. Interior is 80% good though. The guy was the usual big fibber in his description and on the phone but I'm used to that. I tend to look at what it can be when I'm done with it than what it is now. Hopefully it's a worthwhile venture

Looks nice and you have the skills to sort it all out. I reckon he was mad not to get a fresh MOT as I am sure that’s what gave you the wriggle room to get his “no lower than £11k “ price down.
Has he lost his C1 maybe? Anyway, good luck with making it yours.

Can the windscreen and windows be removed and resealed ?
Sounds like a big job and hopefully no water damage inside.
I plan to remove all the habitation windows clean them all up and reseal them properly. The windscreen I can't tackle myself as its a bonded screen but I'll clean off all the silicone etc and see if I can just seal it outside . If not then I'll see if I can get a windscreen fitter to remove it and reseal for me. Fortunately there's no damage been done on the side windows from the leaks other than a few water marks . But the rear window in bathroom has caused a bit of soft wall behind the panel . So I'll probably have to remove the panel and see what can be done to sort that.

I took all the windows out my last mobilvetta and did the same. I tinted them all too but not doing that again. I will however put some opaque film on the bathroom window as I often think a window in the bathroom is pointless , can't use the facilities with the blind open and when you close the blind it's pitch dark in there.

Use mirror film so you can see out. Don't shower when it's dark outside 😳.

You said it had been downplated. What weight is it/was it?

If you're tearing the shower room apart - can you not make it waterproof so you don't need the clingy shower curtain?
Probably not .

I would go to great lengths to get rid of the shower curtain
I hate them they cling to me and always seem cold however hot the water.

Try using the shower without the curtain - I've a wetroom at home, no screen, van leave the curtain, just an old towel on the floor outside the tray - hardly any water outside(y)

I must point out I do not have a shower curtain either in the motorhome or house, but have experienced them in several hotels.

Looks a cracker Tam, I wasn't sure about the unusual kitchen layout at first but it actually looks like it will work well.

Have the pooches seen it yet?
