Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Oh and I forgot to mention yesterday that ela is also going on a diet she weighed in at 22.5 kh yesterday. She was 17.5kg when we returned from the trip I rescued her on ... she's not bad but she could be doing with losing a bit of tummy . I was never sure how much to feed her as unlike the other 2 she would eat till she burst if she got the chance so I'm cutting down her food

That's how I got the weight off my boy Stanley. I knew he would miss his jumbone in the morning and dental chew in the evening so I cut his food down and he didn't notice. I got him down from 42kg to 35kg

I weigh mine every visit to the vet then adjust food portions as necessary. I hate trying to "diet" dogs.
Yeah it's not easy as I always just guessed how much to give her but don't want her getting to heavy as it's not good for them. Jade and milo have stayed about the Same. Jade is 9.5kg and milo is 6.5

When I found ela she was 16kg and vet said 17 , 17.5 was about ideal . So she's 5kg over that now and you can see she's got a belly on her so ill give her less food so she doesn't lose her treats

So that's you & Ela off to Slimmer's World Classes when you get home then.:giggle:
You can then count up all yer Sins, or maybe that's asking too much maybe.:whistle:

The Viaduct it is supposed to be spectacular ( or am I in the wrong location 🤔)
Ah if you mean the millau one I deliberately avoided it as it costs about £30 ...you get a much better view from the free road below it

It’s been a great thread Tam, the best yet I think of all your travels.. a few ups and downs but that’s what makes it interesting though.
Morocco was definitely an adventure and I hope to be there next year following in some of your tyre treads…
I appreciate all the work you put into posting as I only know too well how time consuming it is, thank you…😊

I know your not quite home yet….. but where’s the next one and in what van…🤷🏼‍♂️😎

Drove up to olivet just outside Orleans, only planned to have lunch here but in the last few miles I noticed a vibration and grinding when I'm braking so I will now have to investigate that, very hard to pinpoint which wheel its coming from but really could have done without this right now as I've still a lot of Miles to do and I would much rather do any pad replacements etc at home than in bloody France. So I'm off now to try and find the cause and I'm really hoping I don't need new pads on both rear axles as that's not a 10 minute job to do.

Wish me luck

Grinding from the Front or Rear?, I guess it must be the rear as you have just done the front, lets hope the pads are not as bad as the fronts were, as you say you need to get home rather than sit in France waiting for spares.
Good luck, the weather out there looks as dull as its been over here, and that's the south east I am talking about.

I can't tell , and I know that sounds daft but so many other noises I can't hear where it's coming from I can only feel it.

I've also discovered another problem that was meant to be fixed last year when the clutch was done so I'm now just praying I can make it home on my own steam and not need recovered.

More details later as I need to go jack up all wheels

Put a like on that, it was for the photo's not because you had a problem, hope it's small and easily fixed.

Right well all the rear brake pads are fine and I've just replaced th front ones and all looks fine there too so I'm not sure what's going on .

The vibration I suspect may be coming from the other issue.

When I had the clutch replaced last year they discovered the oil leak was the crank shaft oil seal and that's what had buggered the old clutch. So that was replaced aswell as some other seal and a full new clutch fitted. Well it looks like that seal has failed again as I've an oil leak again coming from the bell housing ....probably why I've been feeling a vibration going up hills because its slipping.

It's leaking bad enough for there to be a spray over the underside of the van , I've never felt like this was right but I kept putting it down to paranoia or imagination etc same with the rattle from the thrust bearing the mechanic claimed at the time was normal on these vans despite me never having that issue on any of the other 5 motorhomes I've had with this engine.

This job was only done last June so I'm hoping I have some come back on that as it'd going to need removed and replaced once again . Which I really did not need the headache of .

I'm not sure if that's the only issue I'm having with it or not but as I've a ferry to catch on Friday morning and If I'm going to have a breakdown I'd much rather it was at least in the UK im planning to just push on again now towards dieppe and hope for the best.

I am so done with bloody fiats ...and I'm really pissed off as I wanted this van sold
