After our vet appointment this morning we headed over the border in to France, stopped roadside for some lunch around 1.30 and then pushed on , checked out a couple of overnight spots but none were thar nice so just kept going and parked up in millau about 5 o'clock, not bad wee spot alongside the river which will do fine for a night. There's a nice walk along the banks and a view of the bridge. Certainly know you're in France, its dull , a lot colder 13.5° , the diesel is 35c a litre dearer than Spain and the drivers are shit lol. Still it's a kind of middle ground before getting back to UK which is duller, colder and even more expensive for diesel

£152.9 per litre in devon yesterday , £162.9 in Somerset .

Just nipped in to carrefour in lossiore, a baguette , 4 carrots, 3 onions and a pack of 3 garlic balls .. €9.53

In Spain and in Morocco I got a whole bag of veg for half that

I didn't do too badly but I have gained a stone over this trip since I left home in September. So that means I have 2 to lose to get where I want to be

Aye its expensive in comparison . Can't believe 3 balls of garlic was nearly €4 ...its feckin grown here.

I get 3 balls in asda for around £1

And they didn't sell it separately.

Just refilled with diesel for the first time since Spain.

Spain was €1.48 but I'd been paying about €1.35 further south.

I've seen it as high as €2.15 here on the motorway but carrefour was €1.76


Morocco was about €1.16 so you fairly notice the difference
