Tam n pups winter trip 2022

That's a pretty shitty thing to do though as it damages the business.

I mean those are pathetic for a site that costs £3 odds a night
Dirty toilets and showers wouldn't bother me for that price. I have a lovely clean shower and loo in my van and hot water. But if these guys are lying that is just not on like you say it can damage the business.

I have to say I haven't used the toilets or showers I have my own but Jackie has and says they are dated but clean. I've seen a woman mopping them out at least 3 times today.

But it's £3 Fiddlesticksin quid . And has water , waste disposal etc . And it's secure

Talking of dog rescuers Tam have you heard of the Scotsman Colin "Coco" Brown he has a sanctuary in Murcia with his Spanish partner Sebastian. He is the loveliest guy ever. I was watching him today with some puppies that someone just threw over his fence:mad: He makes his money by his drag act Coco at nights and relies on donations but I think he has a few English peeps who do some fundraising for him. He also rescues horses I just love him!! He calls his sanctuary Hugo's Home Farm.

Last week as a 49 year old you would have been complaining like hell about having to pay 3 quid to park for the night.

I haven't.

Have you a link?

Colin "Coco" Brown also has "helping Coco" where he first opened up his charity for saving horses.

Belated birthday greetings to you Tam. We still at Mohammedia and leaving tomorrow (Ocean Blue £7.20 pn) Met a lady that gave us loads info on Morocco as its he's seventh time here, so now changing our coastal plans and heading in-land to Merzouga via The Agate Farm. Only mentioning it as an alternative from the coast, less litter and less stray dogs. Take care (y):birthday:

Be aware some of the routes are closed due to Snow and flooding.
We are stuck between two floods 85 km from Tata.
We stayed here last night and this morning the river is even higher, so expect to be here until tomorrow.

We had a drive out to a large beach today in Jackie's van leaving Abraem to work on mine in peace. We drove through some very upmarket areas and some very rundown areas on the route. Passed this lovely big mosque so stopped for a few photos , nice long beach for a walk then back for lunch .

I think we might have to pick up some cat food too as we are coming across cats as well as dogs but thankfully not as many so just a small bag I think and see how that goes.
I can't believe the King of Morocco mohamed vi is worth around 9 billion yet there's such grim poverty around. He needs to put his hand in his pocket and sort it out

When we went to Marrakesh to meet up for the Trek, we flew from Seville. What a culture shock. We were taken to our hotel by our guide, Mohamed, and left to have an evening to ourselves. We walked to the Centre along roads lined with 4x4 vehicles, and Mercs etc. to suddenly find ourselves walking amongst donkeys and people pulling hand carts. We couldn't believe the change within a few hundred metres.

Crossing roads 😨😨😨 blimey, your life in your hands. Follow the locals and run.

I've seen Marrakesh now, I wouldn't want to go again. We trekked in the Anti Atlas and that was totally different. We were invited into the village houses of friends of Mohamed and it was lovely to sit on cushions, on the floor, and share mint tea and little cakes.

That's the part of Morocco you need to find, Tam.

That gave me a laugh, Tam couldn't wait to get away from the Scottish winter and now he is in Marocco with snow, love it.

I've chatted with him online and we passed by this morning, but it's only open to the public at weekends.

I might see if he needs help during the week. It'll make a change to walking perrera dogs (council dog pound). He has some horses and ponies and I love being around them. Soooo long since my old pal passed.

This photo must have been taken about 40 years ago 😨😨😨

I get why Colin only has visitors at weekends. He is too busy to have folks just keep dropping in on him.

Yes I'll be heading through the mountains inland to the desert later in the trip ...planning a big circle really ...down to just past agadir then inland .

This abraem guy is a character ...he was at the van when we returned today but disappeared and hasn't returned since ..he hasn't even finished sanding yet and we are supposed to.be leaving here tomorrow. I can see me having to stay till Sunday as I don't want a crap job done but I will have to tell him when he next appears that we are leaving on Sunday for definite. If he's not done he's missed out.

I get bored in one place
