I don't suppose there's anyone on here who lives around the malaga area that could store a few bits for me while I'm in Morocco? Apparently drones are illegal and I have one , if you declare it they confiscate it , from what I've heard elsewhere they are often never seen again. I could hide it but then I'm concerned about this x Ray nonsense finding it. I'm also considering leaving the scooter here and collecting it on the way back . Its out of mot mid February so might be a bit dodgy using it there and also I don't really want to pay insurance there for 2 vehicles.

To be honest I'm getting fed up with the hassle of Morocco before I even get there.

Hi. I’m based in Spain – 25 minutes drive from Algeciras. You could leave your camper safely near us and we could get you to Gibraltar airport (flights to various UK airports) or to Malaga. We have a Hymer and know of places to get repairs done not far from here. Happy to help and would like to think you could resume your trip. We plan to go to Morocco in March, so would love to pick your brains.

Just update. Sorry doesn’t want to be responsible. But says there’s a weekly newspaper called Euronews that always has storage advertised. Hope that helps

That's my laundry done for another couple of weeks. It's market day today and this wee street sure gets busy .
As if I needed more issues my kitchen tap has decided to start leaking for no apparent reason ...weird thing is it seems to be leaking from half way up the tap body where it swivels

Thanks guys I think I'm sorted , I forgot CaptainPaul brother lives out here so I've spoken to them and it should be OK to leave my scooter , the rack and the drone there and I'll collect it on my return. It saves any potential problems with customs etc and as scooter out of mot mid Feb there's no point having to insure it for Morocco etc. I haven't actually used it that much to be honest. Fortunately the rack is only 10 minutes to remove it.

Just been talking to the people with the big caravan ....or should I say they came and spoke at me .. its Spanish registered but no surprise they're feckin Germans.

They wanted me to move forward so they could squeeze their friends sprinter in between them and me.

I being an obliging scotsman moved forward a little as I'm leaving in the morning anyhoo.

Lol you bear me too it but I was just about to post saying this is how I'm rewarded for my being obliging.

I now have to enjure ever increasing volume of shite music , cackling women and drunk chatter in German. They are sat outside the sprinter on the bench and wall having a drink . The sliding door is opened and closed about every 10 minutes . Bare in mind this is a residential street .

Once again the unbelievably selfish spoil other people's peace and enjoyment.

Next time I'll just tell anyone that asks me to make space to feck off.

Just what I think as well but didn't like to mention it ,as tam easily takes offence.
We have been all over Europe for over 10 years now mostly Aires and never been upset what others do , they are only there , same as us and are free to do as they like .

Nah , I'm not in Germany France or in Holland I'm in Spain where like the UK more and more restrictions are coming in . The police came round here on Saturday and sat taking down numbers , and a local from the apartment building was speaking to them aswell and pointing at the vans. Parking is tolerated, camping is not and to be sitting outside making a noise and drinking in a residential street is not on and is only going to fuel the fire.


I'm all for off grid parking it's how I afford my trips but I don't take the piss and I justifiably get pissed off when others do and effectively damage my lifestyle

Problem with authorities, they take the easy route and blanket ban motorhomes altogether. People should be responsible enough to self police.
