Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Been out for a walk along the promenade , its still a bit windy today which makes it quite cool out of the sun . We walked along to where I parked up the last time I was here , overnight parking is supposed to he banned there now but there's loads of vans there.

This is the street I'm in at the minute . Park next door and the beach 100 yards in front over the road

It's further away from town and the vets.

Had a walk along the beach back towards malaga centre . Nice sandy beach loads of chiringuitos

And I've been round to suss out tye vets which is literally 2 minute walk so that's handy. I'm hoping when I ask him again about results that he did understand me correctly and will have them in about a week buy I'm sceptical at present.

Lots of parrots about here too which I love. They have been lacking everywhere else I've been this year so far and I'd assumed they'd all flown south to Africa or something but there's loads here

We will all have to resign ourselves to booking campsites in the near future, Portugal has taken the lead, Spain wont be far behind.
Not enough campsites or aires where people would want them on the coast
There is usually more space on camperstops/Aires.
But in a vehicle like that as soon as they lower the steps to get out they are contravening the rules.
Yes, our van (Dethleffs tag) is the same size as yours Tam. It’s the middle one in the picture below and is dwarfed by our neighbours:

The ones for jade and milo were apparently done in Barcelona... but the company is German.

But his English seemed pretty good on the phone so I will find out as much info as I can.

The one I was going to use in nerja was recommended to me from a British couple on Instagram who used them at Christmas time. But they had the same timetable ...blood taken on 15th Dec and results confirmed by phone on 24th but not in writing till the 4th January.

This vet Dr alonso martinez said 1 week but he maybe mistaken ..that might only be for verbal result. Although I did ask if that was for certificate

Where abouts is this place please.
Thanks

Where abouts is this place please.
Thanks
It's just outside a little place called Almasssora heading south from there and north of Valencia it might be on some of the camping/motorhome sites I'm not sure I tend to just drive about and find places as I go but I'm sure you'll find it OK leaving Almassora heading to Valencia

I agree however if "person' criticisms are permitted unfortunately there will be those who will use it for very trivial and/or stupid stuff, such as "the neighbouring MH gets up at 7 am to walk his 3 dogs and clatters against my MH whilst doing so!". :giggle:
A better answer would be for P4N to list inappropriate behaviours in an introduction on their website.

Thank you, it's much appreciated. (y)

Right we are back from vets. That looks a very posh place , lots of interesting looking equipment, staff all very friendly and good with the animals but poor ela was still very nervous and pooped on the nurse 🤣

They use a different lab which is in Spain but according to him there's quite a few of them . 🤷‍♂️

It seems the German one has a few branches in Spain too if you Google idexx Spain.

Anyway I was right and it's 3 weeks for results from him too so still going to be February

He was more expensive in the end as they charged €33 consultation fee and €146 for the blood test.

He took the blood from her neck which was different as the others took it from their front legs.

Anyway the process has started again and it's just a case of waiting now.

Hopefully it's quicker but can only wait and see.

They did say they would email the results when they got them

Parakeets Tam, they re a bloody nuisance if they take up residence next to you as they are seriously loud and breed like fury so a habitat of a few can become hundreds in no time.

Another 25° would be nice. :giggle:

-4 at home yesterday. Heavy frost
Was about -0.5° at 2:30pm when I took that, I was on dog walking duty.
Not normal temperature for down here.
