Looking at the grille, I'd guess at an Alvis.

That's the one .It's a 'hurtan author' hand crafted in spain
I quite liked it, I could see Citroën influence in there but I think it is a bit marmite .Its awful looking
I would go for it Tam you've nothing to lose, as I said ages back mine in Italy were done and dusted in 4 days!Right I'm now in a quandary. I phoned the first vet I had in mind in malaga she spoke good English but said they don't work with an approved lab so can't do the test. Thought that was strange but no matter.
So I phoned another Dr alonso , he has pretty good reviews too and speaks English. He says he can do it at 6pm tomorrow. He says it's €160 he did one last week .
I asked how long for results and he said 1 week , I asked if that was one week with the written certificate and he said " of course "
Now if that's correct that would be fabulous but the doubter in me is wondering if its correct ... I suppose I've nothing to lose if it takes longer as everywhere else seems to take 20 days for written result despite verbal result in 7 to 10 days.
So I'm thinking do I just cancel the one here and drive to malaga in the morning and use the vet there.
Aye I hope so .I would go for it Tam you've nothing to lose, as I said ages back mine in Italy were done and dusted in 4 days!
That look seems to be saying... I'm not a cute baby anymore, I'm a handsome fellow! And the cutest boy in town
He will always be my cute babyThat look seems to be saying... I'm not a cute baby anymore, I'm a handsome fellow!
There's a service point in a petrol station just outside the town . Some will probably use that I imagine. Vans coming and going all day so while there's a few will be staying here a while I reckon most are only here a day or 2 .Just wandering Tam, where are all those vans dumping their Black & Grey waste, are there facilities?, cant see it being allowed much longer if not. Even if there are Elsan Points, bet its in a right state, especially with folks like your Italian Neighbours.
Good luck with the vet, 160eu for one dog is not cheap to me, but I guess you gotta pay to get anywhere these days.

The guy that runs P4Night used to be on Fun perhaps Jim would know. You have to laugh at the park4night team who have deleted my comment on this parking spot for the reasons they have given in this email.
It seems that speaking the truth is not allowed. View attachment 707349
I have no criticism of the place itself it's a free carpark . I do however have criticism of some people using it. And those people need to see those criticisms in the hope they learn from them .
If park4night only allows positive reviews nothing will change
I never mentioned any race . If you look at the pic I posted what I wrote is in the middle highlightedDoesn't want to p*ss off his Italian/Spanish customer base.
???
Exactly. And to be honest I didn't leave a bad review of the place. I attempted to point out the selfish anti social behaviour of a few people using the place.Don't know the guy Lenny, but IMO not allowing negative reviews or removing bad sites from the app is not a good idea. Makes you wonder if they would keep quiet about say, a spate of thefts from motorhomes.
And the Germans...but isn't it just the Italians & Spanish who pitch up like tw@ts?
...oh and the French
I agree about their often selfish parking and the amount of stuff they trail with them .. but they are often designed to be self sufficient.Slight topic swerve, please forgive, but I can never get my head arround people that own massive coach size MH's or Overlanders, worth in excess of 250/300K, then tow a car/bike trailer on the back, expecting find any welcoming wild camping spots on the coast in Spain and many other places. They take up so much space on aires leaving in some cases not much room for anyone else, with that size investment, a campsite has to be the only sensible arrangement.
I would be worried about jealous or niggled people keying down the side of it, if it was mine.

I don't care what size van is parked next to me. I agree, just don't take the piss by selfish parking and setting up home there. I have found over the years that peeps with large vans and cars/trailers tend to like to park up on secure campsites BUT we rarely wild camp so don't see if there are some cheeky twats in big rigs squeezing into the free places, and I don't mean Aires some are so big there is room for all of us, that is out of order if you can afford a bus/trailer then you can afford to pay for your overnight stay on a campsite.I agree about their often selfish parking and the amount of stuff they trail with them .. but they are often designed to be self sufficient.
The problem is how big is too big . I don't know why they need half the stuff they trail with them if the van wasn't so big they wouldn't need the car and trailer. But many just rock up to one place and set up home there which is out of order in my opinion
It's a 'catch all' set of reasons, the one you've fallen foul of is criticizing other persons.I never mentioned any race . If you look at the pic I posted what I wrote is in the middle highlightedView attachment 707371
He wasn't talking about campsites and aires though he was talking about wildspots which often aren't that wild. I've seen a few in the last few weeks that are coach sized with slide outs etc in normal carparks , complete with a trailer , car or 4x4 buggy etc . Some are parked up there for weeks and months on end.But we are all staying in the same campsites or aires/emptying our sh*t down a suitable point/living in a box etc etc so shouldn’t be judged on cost/size of the motorhome.
No they don't. If you read some of the reviews/comments on some places this sort of thing is mentioned along with issues from local youths, dogs barking, you name it ... even 'ladies with plastic chairs' using them as business premises!Don't know the guy Lenny, but IMO not allowing negative reviews or removing bad sites from the app is not a good idea. Makes you wonder if they would keep quiet about say, a spate of thefts from motorhomes.
I'm aware of that . That was my pointIt's a 'catch all' set of reasons, the one you've fallen foul of is criticizing other persons.
