That looks like Deltebre, use to be a nice bit of waste ground you could park on for free now a paying Aire.
Last time we were there it was all nice and peaceful then some Northener drove and shouted at the top of his voice "LENNY HB" it was namwaldog.

I knew it was there but you have to pay now, looks like they are only allowing Motorhomes on part of the area.

They were parked all over last night some behind us and the front row where we are, but there's no barrier or anything here. The slop out etc is 100 yards back up the road charges €5 for all the facilities but you can just park beside it and do it all anyway for free lol , not the most organised but it's a nice wee spot for a night or 2

Definitely free the guardia civil passed through last night around tea time and just waved at us all and that was that... there is a coin machine & barrier at the slop out area but as I say everyone just pulling up outside and using it anyway as it's permanently on

Meant to say to you Lenny HB I got the reverse camera sorted at the dealers I bought off on the way through England it was the earth going to the handbrake wasn't done right... apparently its a dvd player too in the head unit but as a safety feature it won't play dvds without the handbrake on, obviously to stop you driving and watching dvd at the same time once that was correctly wired it's now perfect
It's actually quite handy our friends at Carthago think of everything, you can hit a switch in the rear habitation panel that turns on the head unit in the dashboard and also powers the TV too (all switched to leisure battery) then the dvd in the head unit can be played on the TV screen in the back & has great sound through the speakers too... very clever (at least for me it is! )

We had a trial walk to the vets...all dogs stopping for sniffs and pee marking , and the odd poo it took 10 minutes through a maze of lanes and alleys. Little breezy today and the odd spit of sky moisture but otherwise its still warm but cloudy

It's unreal how many brits there are walking about here , few Irish too and a lot of Americans. Definitely outnumbering the Germans and French for a change . Yet lots of German French and Dutch motorhomes. I passed a hotel and a few brave souls were on sun loungers lol ...they have to be brits

I know that lol there was carp caught yesterday up to about 20kg (not by me I might add) I had 3 Perch you could hardly of made a fish finger out off!
But I've seen the big Catfish but even of I could catch them I've only light coarse fishing gear with me which would be useless for them but my mate back in Ireland has holiday on the Ebro and caught big Catfish over 70kg & 80kg and even they were tiddlers! Lol

Just be careful in your van with Carthago wiring if you have a Pioneer head unit, if you don't switch off the media centre switch on the control panel at night you can end up with a flat starter battery in the morning.

Oh aye all us Paddy's do the fishing Ken used to be right into it but not as much now, just on holidays (which is nearly always!) Although the rivers & lakes at home are full of fish, lots of salmon in Donegal

Starting to think I should maybe have used a vet in malaga as I'm kinda done now with nerja and whilst it's only 30 miles from malaga it seems daft to come back up . Of course all the malaga vets are now closed till after 5pm

Aye I was thinking that . Mainly because I'd like to visit malaga , torremolinos , marbella etc whilst I'm waiting for results so returning to malaga would be less distance than coming back to nerja .

I'll phone a few and see . Anytime tomorrow or Thursday morning would be fine. But if not I'll just keep the one I have

Nah that's definitely not on a vw chassis. The folk are at it now...English but there's quite a crowd round it. Its drawn quite a bit of attention the time it's been parked there
