Depends on the landowner, council etc, I think but rule of thumb is 6 max? Professional dog walkers should have licence and public liability insurance. It's anybody's guess how many unlicensed dog walkers are out there. Nevertheless I wouldn't wish that fate on this young woman or her family

Dog walking doesn't need a licence we have had for 10 years a dog care business,home boarding day minding which are regulated by the local authority but the dog walking element isn't.
We have a 2.5 acre paddock we use exclusively drive up open the doors and it's a free for all for an hour .The walking/ playing element we started when we couldn't take any more day / boarding dogs and is now the largest element.

Dog walking doesn't need a licence

Depends where they're being walked.

For instance, the National Trust has several sites where professional dog walkers need a licence, £150 annually per site, max 4 dogs at a time. It seems many councils, landowners are taking this stance due to the increase in group dog walking as a business.

Anywaaaay I've now arrived in nerja , I remember this being a beautiful town hence my return , last time I was here I parked along the beach but it seems that now incurrs fines so I've not been to check that yet . I'm currently parked in what is normally a paying carpark in town but is currently free , its close to town but the downside is it is very busy and there must be 50 campers here . I had parked away from the herd but it no sooner put the kettle on and a German morelo has parked up next to me ...saw the Same one in almerimar ..it has the truck front instead of the a class . 2 German couples in it. Anyway it will have to do for now . Just having some lunch then I'm going to head out and explore , I'll check out other potential parking spots but I've a feeling that's why this spot is so busy because the rest incur fines.

I passed a bit on the road in that had about 30 -40 vans parked along the road side , a lot looked like hippies , old busses and vans etc ...few hitch hikers too . It must be a good surf spot or something

Yea it's warming up nicely the further south I head, Tam & them boys are quite warm down where they are but I'm never in too much of a hurry lol
I heard through the jungle drums TerryL not going to Morocco now, that's a pity something must of come up, although he's in southern Spain.... do you remember Terry's Tours to Tangiers....

We visited Nerja in October and absolutely loved it. I thought there was a big open area opposite the campsite where vans parked up, not sure if that is the place that now has a fine for parking there. Enjoy the views.

All the spots that face on to the beach on the west side are now banned. I've just walked along there and not any vans so I think it is being enforced. To be honest it's really windy along there today and it's a fair bit away from the shops and bars so I'm not too bothered . This carpark isn't scenic but it serves a purpose.

We've had a wee walk around town and along the beach to check out the other available parking spots on p4n but this one seems the only one the police aren't moving people on from so it will do for a few nights till I get vets sorted then will see.


It's quite windy but not cold so still vest n shorts weather. Lots of nice shops here you could spend a fortune in .

Oh jade is not happy about it , she does these low throat growls voicing her displeasure . Ela usually moves in the end though.

I am not absolutely certain of this but l believe the Council at Nerja is German controlled,l am sure l read about this sometime ago.

Really ? God its like little Britain when you walk around too , every second voice you hear is British, even many of the shops and bars are ex pats. Quite a few Brit vans in this carpark too.

Yes it was a fair walk into the centre of town.

You wouldn't believe how many still trying to squeeze in to this carpark I now have an Italian asshole abandoned next to me. They are so close to the edge they have a 4 foot drop right outside their hab door

It is on this spot lol . If it wasn't for the vets I wouldn't be staying . But when I bang against his van later to get past with the dogs he will get the message as he has also blocked my way out . He is not covering my hab door but he is only 6 inches from my cab door and there's a ledge the other side of him so he's basically blocked me being able to walk past the idiot he is
