Tam n pups winter trip 2022

That's a pretty decent bit storage there. Wheres your water tanks and electrical gear? Are the tanks underslung?
Water tank is in that compartment (arrow) inspection cap and drain out switch on top accessed from top of bed, filler cap on outside panels

Hmm is that fitted as standard or something you've added? I could do something similar to that in the vario . I'll be taking pics of that lol

I'll make my own , I already have the boxes . I did wonder if it was your van as I saw the silver threshold , I was going to say they don't finish it off very well not colour coding it lol

Thought this was quite a nice layout

Only thing I don't like is the washroom. Too small for Wilding. I have never had a fold up sink, so they might be great, but somehow I doubt it.

I've one in my vario . But to be honest I could survive without a bathroom sink. I'd just use the one in the kitchen .

I would too
In fact had to when the bathroom one leaked in the Hymer. I am seriously considering another pvc, and getting rid of the car. My Murvi was perfect except that there is no external storage for cables and hoses.

I could survive without a shower but would need a toilet and wash basin at the very least. I had a very poor upbringing we only had an outside toilet so I am obsessed with being able to pee indoors, it is very posh in my opinion :giggle:

I'm the other way around , I couldn't do without the shower , but having found easier ways to dispose of waste than a cassette toilet I could manage fine without one if I had too. The sink however is just a waste of space. Even in this big van the sink unit makes the toilet space so much more uncomfortable and in the hymer it was impossible to sit on the loo and have the door shut .

Just been up to the shop to get a lobster sim card , nice guy , he's from Essex originally and been out here 7 years . He tried to do the registering for me but it kept declining my card for some reason so I'll need to phone them myself and activate it.

This isn't as easy as it seemed , I try dialing 1661 from my phone it won't connect my phone just ends the call , I try +341661 and it waits a few seconds and then ends the call 🤔 and the shop is closed again till tomorrow 😏 what a pita

I thought all the engines were FIAT

I'm pretty sure the 2.3 is also iveco.

Or at least most of the parts are . On the older models anyway

That's not fair, if that means I don't get my daily fix of your photos then I am going back to bed:xshout:

OK I think it's sorted I found another number to phone them from .

The only problem I might have is they take payment from a recurring card payment , and it's in euros so I tried to do it with my clarity card which keeps declining.

So i had to use my normal card which will charge me a conversion fee ...so I'll have to phone Halifax to see if they can sort that

Halifax clarity credit card charge close to the interbank rate dont they?
Debit card charge a conversion fee!

I found a number on their help page and phoned that the woman in Gibraltar has sorted it for me but I had to use my UK bankcard. The payment seems to have come out in pounds so hopefully I won't get an additional fee on it . But will see how I get on .

Now I just have to get the bloody sim drawer open on my phone . I've lost the wee pin , and a safety pin isn't doing the job

Gib use GBP so should be not be any charges.

A needle normally works on the sim tray, just try a few different thickness ones.

Paper Clip normally does the trick.
Yeah Jackie said that

But guess what? In all the shite I carry around with me I don't have a paperclip . She's coming back here around 5ish anyway so I'll borrow hers .
