Tam while it's in my mind, what have you given as an address as spanish dogs when registered in Murcia(don't know about other regions) get a credit card through the post with all their details on. Name address, owner, chip number etc; etc. same as the vet book or passport. Additionally all dogs paperwork is meant to be carried with you when out with dog at all times. I just carry the plastic card.

That's Alf's above.

It might be easier for you as they won't be expecting a Brit to be having a spanish dog.

Oh I'm not sure ....silvia did all the paperwork for me ...i have her passport but the name and address section has been left blank for me to fill in myself.

I'm taking her back in July to be steralised and all blood tests done etc

I’m very pleased for you, she looks lovely and fantastic news that she has taken to the cage. Hope travel sickness clears quickly. Ours eats grass if her tum isn’t 100% so poss just from travelling.

As others have said Tam, you're a right old softy and all the better for it. (y):D
Well done for giving that lovely little dog a good home and an interesting life. She will love the traveling and all those new places to explore.
I remember our Labrador pup (sadly long gone now) barking for the first time. She looked around with a look of surprise to see where the sound came from.
Jade will be a great companion and we all look forward to reading about your adventures together.

Richard.

Thanks guys :)
She's settling in so well already I expected her to be a bit strange but she isn't she's totally relaxed and at ease which is great :)
Hopefully she gets used to the driving quickly:)

Currently curled up on my lap snoring lol

Tell me your kidding about the socks
Afraid not , happened to one of my mates with his labrador. He didn't know , but the dog was struggling to do his business ,Ian seen something sort of hanging out shall we say . He held it with his hand , and between them it came out. A sock , lucky the dog passed it almost naturally ,guy through the hedge from me has two labs , one was really unwell ,vet xrayed . Need to operate I'm afraid, the dog had chewed and swallowed a piece of towel which didn't pass through naturally. Dog fully recovered about two weeks at home , back to barking at mine through the hedge again.
Although that's two instances ,it's probably a rare occurance.
No smileys as it could have been really bad for either dog.

Have a lovely life together !
And you’ve done a wonderful thing giving a stray puppy a loving home !

......your message is meant for Jade of course...............;)

She's lovely Tam..they say that dogs and owners start to look like each other..so you will be having to fight off the ladies/orange sellers with a big stick if that should happen!! Re dogs eating grass..my German Shepherd ate some long grass once..anyhow the next day he got busy (you get my drift) he did what he had to do and I went to pick it up with a poop bag..Trouble was some of the grass was still attached to him..he ran off squealing like a baby, dragging his business behind him..he kept looking behind him and the look on his face when he saw it was still following him was priceless..of course this all happened in our local park and there was a fair sized audience most of whom we knew!! I was panicking as he was so distressed..and guilty because I couldn't stop laughing (I don't think I managed to pick it all up either)

Jade might find it a bit quiet after the bustle of the kennels - you could maybe put the radio on if she doesn't settle. Good luck :-)
