There's 5 massive aires around me ...they are all full and he'll of a cramped.....few streets jam packed with motorhomes too ....its a real busy place calpe.

I'm in a wee side street between 2 of the aires ....only 3 vans here one of them another solo brit. Nice and quiet now too.
Luckily I managed to use a free aire outside benissa to drop waste and fill water up as despite all these aires round here being full they won't let punters empty and fill ....even for a small fee.
Doesn't make sense to me but hey ho

Will have a day or two here then decode if I want to brave beni or head inland a bit.
I've heard guadalest is quite nice.

I tried and failed on that road in a hired Mondeo. It was a complete piece of sh1t but the aircon was brilliant.

Hmm I did read it was a narrow road but figured tour buses go up there.

Is it not passable ?

I don't like to drive more than an hour or so between spots ....usually have a rough idea where I'm gonna head ...but it often changes lol

Yes, tour buses do go up there but they take the southerly road from Benidorm via La Nucia by-pass. You could pick that road up by going through Alfas del Pi on the CV 763 off the N332 south of Altea.

Tam....Just Google Earthed Guadalest, there are 4/5 mohos parked up in a car park beside the museum, so you should be OK to drive up there, and spend the night wilding....fingers crossed.

Yes I remembered that which was one of the reasons I was going.
There's fountains and a motor museum up that way I want to go see

Oops forgot last night's overnight location. This was just a random find and isn't on an app although there are ones on the app all around me. I opted for the lone parking.
Was a quiet peaceful night.

I wouldn't try and take my van up the 755,go up the 70 to Guadalest and use your scooter to visit the museum. We ride up the 755 every year as it's a cracking road for a motorbike,visited the museum last year,well worth it.

I do if the sun is beaming through the skylights like it is again this morning



I do need to have a warm day to lie on the beach though as my face has become a very different colour to the rest of my body and I already had an existing tan from my holiday in gran canaria late October.

We took 8m tag axle along the 755 road no problems.
Motorhome car park is to the right of the normal car/bus park and down a slope. It was blocked by barriers when we went and the man who collected the money (4 euros overnight) moved them and put them back after us.

Tam, there is a snow warning out for the hills surrounding Beni starting overnight tonight, may be very picturesque waking up in Guadalest tomorrow.

Whit!!! I'm only 15 miles north of beni and it's 20° not a cloud in the sky ....im sat here in my Speedos and crocs melting....wjat do you mean snow?

But not to worry it will likely be next week before I'm up there as I'm gonna have a few days here while it's nice
Found another spot this morning closer to the beach and that big rock I want to go walk up at somepoint.
