You might find that by the end of a yearyou want to up-size , I find that having plenty of room is a real plus , particularly if you get a spell of weather that's not so good .and load capacity is another .

Hmm that was my thinking when I bought franky ....dont get me wrong she's a great van very comfortable but I really could have managed with something a lot smaller , I've just carried a load of extra stuff with me I don't really need. I'm also tempted to go down the stealth van route next time but I will see how I feel by the end of the year.
My mind keeps changing ....im enjoying the journey

Yeah it is a bit ...it was erected by the local classic motorbike club I think

There are some lovely bikes here I must admit and some nice classic cars

Found the old toy museum denia is famous for wooden toy manufacture apparently and there's a nice wee museum in the town with all sorts of stuff on display ...all before my time but some of you more vintage members may remember some of these from your childhood

The Spanish have it sussed ...i mean where else can you buy a can of coke a sandwich,crisps,chocolate a packet of condoms and a pregnancy test kit all from one vending machine ?
I mean in some places that's like a romantic night in for 2 ha ha ha

If it was just last week then that will be cullera I think....but there's so many ...spain has many many beautiful beaches

Have you tried speaking French to them (the frogs)? If you just say bonjour monsieur/Madame, or ca va? it may help defrost them.
(with apologies if you are already a fluent French speaker!!!)

I admit that because I'm in Spain I don't I usually say hola lol and see if they respond and in what language ......if theu seem interested in any form of discussion then even if we can't speak each other's language I've still managed to communicate.....done this with a few Dutch a German and a Lithuanian till now .....but sadly I've not met anyone French who has made any effort
And I really do hate saying that because I hate stereotypes but bern the German and Dave and marsha all said they have encountered the same thing

Very interesting Tam - we are down at Estepona now and strangely enough we haven't come across many French on our travels this year, whereas mos years we meet quite a few - probably find more of them in Portugal the French seem to congregate there in fair numbers

IMO @Podney is quite right - because I can speak a little French and do enjoy "trying it out" I usually say "Bon Jour" to any French person I see and most times this elicits a decent response and once they find out I am Scottish then I often become their "bon ami Ecossais" (the auld alliance and all that!! )

I see it's three euro fifty for condoms and one euro for chocolate bars . Would rather buy three choc bars and leave the rest to chance
