Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

Just for comparison, a lady on here sold hers this year, same model B654 2005 LHD for if I recall correctly £31000, jacsprat her name was, do a search and look at the van/price, it looked absolutely immaculate though, pristine I would say by the description and photographs.

So yours is a year older but 12k cheaper, if you are sure that the cupboard area is no big deal then you wont lose money on that van, no way, if you can get a good Hymer 2004 B654 for 19k then you are laughing.

Poor Jade, don't you like her eau de moo, it's one of the favouries with with it pups you know!
Re van, don't be too picky -he who hesitates is lost.
If you clean it up and titillate those cupboards you could still sell it at a profit in the spring if you had doubts.
You are just a tight a. ..d Scot. :D.

Have had a good look now, what’s with the staining on the garage door..? Looks like it may of leaked at some point...

Otherwise it looks ok, but I thought you wanted something shorter..?

Tam - buy the van if it's that good.
Where's @ianthebuilder All put in £1 a week, if @Northernraider doesn't like the new acquisition then sell it and we split the profit

Our Concorde 2005 model cost £32500 Tam, just for comparison this April we imported it, 6.5 metres. Although I wanted a smallish rear wheel drive van.

The mark on the garage door looks like it's had a leak but it's solid and not spongy so not a concern.

It is shorter around 6.5metres looks tiny outside compared to franky

You mean man! What's wrong with letting her have a warm shower. You could have carried her to it!

In my mum's hoose with a plastic shower base are you mad ...I'd be evicted lol

But she did get a nice hairdryer afterwards

Maybe she'll think twice before rolling in poo next time ...my cars bloody stinking

This one near me is 3 years older and asking 18k

Just as a comparison.

At that price - you have a decent buffer to fix/replace
Aye that one was on eBay starting bid 16995 it didn't sell and I was just about to offer him 15 when he relisted it on eBay at 18995

Madness and just a waste of advertising

Different layout though and I'd prefer a French bed than another transverse

Its a bit late to contact the guy now though so I'll phone him tomorrow

I think I'll just go for it and hope I don't have to spend a small fortune on it.
The leisure batteries are ancient and I'm not sure the water pump is up to much etc

But he does have some hymer trader from Sheffield chasing him for it at 18k so won't get it any cheaper

Tam, it's got dual gas low bottles with a t piece? Whatever will you find to argue about on forum if it has? Or are you going to retrofit and swap over bottles.... ;)
It's actually gas it bottles it has lol

It has a gaslow filler point though but orange bottles.

@Northernraider
Tam, do you think you’ve got the feeling that you don’t have a van so you’ve got to get one?
Are you absolutely sure this Hymer owner is really clueless or is it an act to avoid awkward questions.
If I have that much ‘should I-shan’t I’-feelings I usually walk away.
Don’t forget there are plenty more vans out there!

Wait 'til she finds badger or hedgehog. They're favourites & make cow poo smell like Febreeze.:D

Yes I'm at that stage I think
I'm not sure about it and knowing they always need work done and money spent my concern is it's nearly at what I wanted to spend max

There's another been listed by a dealer which looks in much better condition but a gokd bit dearer.

There's lots of vans come up so I am at the stage where maybe I need to just step back and wait.

Don't know how flexible that would be and doesn't have oven bike rack or ladder

She's a nightmare with the smells

She was stinking yesterday
My dog rolls in crap as well she is 3 now but learning she rolls in something she gets hosepipe and shampoo and she doesn't like water - she goes down on front head turns to side then rubs it with side of face - likes it by her ears i think - has 2nd thoughts if i'm close by

If the batteries are Gel often good for 10 years life.
Hymer use a Reich Tandem submersible pump, not as powerful as the Sureflo in Frankie but adequate. Sometimes, especially if run dry one of the two motors fail. About £40 to replace.
