Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

Who the hell named a place "Spittal" they obviously thought a lot of it:LOL:
Glad you made it home safe Tam, you have a lot of catching up to do, Mum will be so pleased to see you.
Take her some flowers but not grapes as you will probably eat them all.
Best wishes
Les & TinaL
Thought you aren’t allowed to take flowers into hospital any more? Something to do with bugs or summink.
Take chocolates, eat half (or maybe more)(y)

What is wrong with your scooter or have you turned into a warm weather softy? :)

Hope you find your Mum out of pain and in better spirits but I am sure seeing you again will make her day !

OK, I'll accept those excuses, whoops, sorry I mean reasons! ;)
I hope your Mum is beginning to feel a bit better Tam.

Well I've spent the last couple of hours with mum at hospital ....she seems in good spirits at least and cracking jokes etc so quite pleased with that. .She fell again today though ...blames the nurse for not steadying her ...luckily no harm done though
Will see her again tomorrow.

Still not found a cheap car ...always the same loads advertised when I'm not here and soon as I'm looking they all miles away.

Should have bought that cheap toad in Peterborough and towed it home lol

Your Mum will be brighter having you home ,but she will also probably put on bit of an act for your benefit.

I dunno like my mum never bothers with an act lol she's not the type to be backwards in coming forward ...still did her fair share of moaning

Sorry to hijack your thread Tam,but how do I post an unrelated question and upload a picture? Something horrible just crawled across my carpet and is now under the sofa!

This is for your Mum, Tam. Just to let her know that there are a lot of people wishing her well.

Oh Please! Tam! ......you're becoming a politician.............
Lol how's that.

I just mean that this is a good time of year to buy so I could get my next van just now at a better price ...and I can move in to it so franky can be cleaned and left presentable for viewers.

On the con side it means I've two vans insured and perhaps sat parked up over winter ..

Not a big drama ...either way I won't be desperate to sell franky

@Northernraider I think I will sleep better with some constructive advice from a few on here -or maybe not!

That's how ended up with 2 vans.......the Eribacar and Mobilvetta.....love em both.... but not a lot of money compared with Franky(y)

Makes sence to me to get a smaller van now gives you time to sort it all out to your liking and get it all sorted out then you can have big Frankie sale ready and ad you say it will sell, a beautiful van.
Good to hear you found your mum in good spirits hope they manage her pain soon and the treatment works. Good luck with your car search.

The question is will you find another little franki when you need it ,
old saying bird in hand etc :) @Northernraider
Yep that was also my thinking. ...i haven't ruled it out ..i know the build quality of the Frankia and that's what attracts me to another one ....that and I hate to say it but they just aren't as common as those hymers everyone has :p

Yeah that's the thing ...its if I was going from a cheaper van to a dearer van then it wouldn't be so bad ...but using a 15k van while a 40+k one sits doing nothing is the concern

Nothing's ever simple lol

Yep that's what I thought too. I know that she will sell eventually and for the money I'm asking , a quick internet search on frankias for sale in the UK just now shows she's well priced in comparison and actually underpriced.

I think she was well drugged up tonight on the morphine and some other drug I can't spell. Definately looked better than I'd been expecting so that was good. Can only take it day by day
