But far quicker, we live near Brighton over 30 min quicker to go via A23, M23. & M25 even though it's nearly 20 miles further.

But its more scenic and time never bothers me now..Spent 40 years driving flat out day in day out,,,Like a snail now,,,,Its great,,Took me 10 years after i retired to see the light and slow down,,BUSBY,,

That sounds gross, I'm really squeamish about knees at the best of times, and what's the only thing I've ever broken? Yep, my knee, had to have bone out of my hip, 7 screws and a metal girder!

Aye it sounds yuck....she had a knee replacement about 5 years ago and a hip replacement about 8 or 9 years ago.
According to sister they seem to be concentrating a lot on her knee and not much else but it's like they suspect infection in the bone where they cemented the new ones part In

Belgium , by the time the back axle is on Belgian roads the front is already crossing the border the other side , if you want rough Poland is a gem

Could be worse Tam. I worked for a firm years ago where the Director's PA was, shall we say, not recruited for her academic or geographical abilities. Two of her more memorable gaffs (there were plenty!) were:-

Sending the MD and two of the Directors to Northampton for a meeting that was actually in Southampton.

She was given a parcel to post with an address that ended in "N.Yorks", so she sent it to New York. Yes, really.

Easy done last year down at dungeness in the car I drove out of the pub carpark and another car was coming straight towards me only when he swerved over to the other side of the road to avoid me I realised I was on the wrong side of the road.

Imagine what it is like in mine? Even worse on concrete sections. Gdunk,gdunk,gdunk, gdunk. Slower you go the worse it is.

The thing is I'm driving up this road on the wrong side and I saw a Volvo waiting to pull out at a junction ...i passed and I saw him in my mirror come out on to the road but on the other side ...we are still driving and I'm saying to jade ha that guy must be foreign and he's forgot we drive on the other side ...i then came to a t junction pulled out as it was empty next thing there's a bloody big van speeding towards me and cars overtaking me on the correct side of the road lol
Nearly had heart attack.


Windy today too been getting blown about a fair bit ...on the a1 now near wetherby stopped fir a wee

Yeah I mean they claim it's no cost to me as they just whack their commission on top of the price ....but I don't know

I'd prefer to just sell it myself but if it hasn't sold in a month I might let them advertise it over the winter

The thing is with there bit on top it could put customers off thinking it’s to much. But as long as you get what you want then all could be good. We bought ours through motorhome depot, all they do is put you in touch with the owner etc. We haggled and come to a price with the owner which we were both happy with. They even gave us a lift from Devon to Cornwall to do the handover and to pick it up. Because we haggled they would have had less commission but we’re still happy.

Stay off the roads round Hull tomorrow, have to really concentrate when I get back find it easier going over the channel.
