Go over the bridge and follow the 'Route Bleu' towards Guerande and follow the coast round.
The big very French resort of La Baule and the smaller picturesque fishing harbours of Le Croisic and La Turballe, small coastal towns of Piriac sur Mer and Quimiac/Mesquer, lovely coastal scenery and beaches.

Presqu'ile means peninsular, Guerande has a complete 'medieval' wall and the area is famed for its 'Sel de Guerande'.

So we've spent the day in vannes.
Nice wee town there was some film crew filming at the cathedral so couldn't get near most of that
there were a few places listed in park4night but all on busy main roads so I found a wee quiet street and im parked up there for the night behind tjis lovely wee old simca ....and it's really quiet so far so perfect
Gonna head to rennes tomorrow I think.

Vannes looks stunning, we are heading south in a couple of weeks but I think it's a bit too far out of our way as we have only got 5½ weeks to get to Portugal & back.

Yeah it's right over West side ...was actually a little out of my way too but I remember it from last time I was in France so thought I'd revisit. It is a lovely wee town ... I've been to rennes before too but can't remember it either so that's the next overnight stop tomorrow....then I want to revisit mont st Michael as I really liked that village.

Mont St Micheal will be busy, busy, busy. Watch out for Jade as when we were there it was shoulder to shoulder & you had to fight your way thru. A small dog could get stepped on & very frightened!

Yeah I'm not sure I'll take her if I go visit as I remember it being busy last time

Well rennes wasn't much so a pretty uneventful day other than trying to wash franky which cost me a tenner and she's still dirty lol ....couldnt believe the state of the roof considering I was up there in Portugal and washed and waxed it .....absolutely filthy it was. ..so she's cleaner than she was but still not as clean as id like her

So I left rennes and can't decide for definate whether to visit mont st Michael or not so I've stopped for the night here at fougeres.
There might be plenty aires on France but they are bloody well crammed most of the time. ..its also cold wet and very much like England only they speak funny ( so do the English mind you )

Got an email back from vet so I've an appointment at mailleraye sur siene at 10.15 on Friday 28th

Yes, in Fougeres. Not sure about takeaway but they did a few set menus that were very reasonable

Nooo, You can measure her feet bur Blue was only a pup when he got his. Haha he couldn't walk in them til he tried to chase a bird...He learned quickly then...Was sooo funny watching him.
