Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

Hi Tam - about 15 miles West of Faro - on the beach near Quartiera is a good wild spot (can get a bit busy) but easy walk?cycle along the beach path to town.

Water & dump point at Aire next to Liddle about a mile & a half away :)

I don't know how these things happen to me I really don't but I just sent @irnbru A nearly naked picture of me via whatsapp by mistake

Mortified doesnt even come close.

Ingrid ...ine of the austrian girls i met the other day is going to a masquerade ball this weekend and we had been discussing the masks and I said I used to have one ....i sent her a pic and of course the only one I had of it was one where I was bloody naked apart from a towel lol.

Needless to say both of them are finding it hilarious and you could fry an egg on my face

That sounds like favouritism - i think we should all get to see and judge whether you (or me ) heehee are guilty of sexual harassment.

I'm just glad whatsapp allows you to delete the photo which I never knew it did that till today lol

If you head for the airport but turn off the last roundabout to faro beach there is loads of free camping spots there.

Can't say I'm overly impressed with Portugal so far.

The spot I parked up in at quartiera was nice but don't I moved from there haven't seen anywhere nice , faro was meh....ended up moving yesterday evening to olhao ...went to 3 of the wild spots on park4night each of them were empty and had signs banning motorhomes so I ended up in Lidl carpark as they had motorhome spaces ....handy for bread and milk this morning but thats it.

No daytime parking spots so had a quick walk with jade and left ....went to visit fuseta .....couldnt get parked anywhere so left again.
I'm stopped for lunch now just outside olhao and I think I'll end up back in quarteria for tonight as I have to stay reasonably close to this area for camperserve on Friday.
I'm hoping it gets better

More people speak English here which is nice.
Fuel is way dearer.
Don't think it's as nice as spain but granted I've not seen many places yet so will wait and see.
Motorhomes seem even more unwelcome than they did in spain.
Roads are terrible ...shaking my fillings out
 
Go West young man,go west.
Lagos,then go up the west coast. Then to the north,very different.

Were moving from where we are to the aire at Albufeira prob end of week, rather lively there, if you fancy giving your liver a work out:p:p

Yes silves is on my list ...i might well pop in to the aire at albufiera for a couple of days as I had planned to visit there next
 
Always found Silves to be crowded whenever we went. Do not judge Portugal by the Algarve , once you turn the corner at St Vincent and go up the west coast it's as though you are in a different country
 
We were also disappointed with the south coast of Portugal but the Atlantic coast is beautiful. I think you'll find it more to your taste as its much less developed. Lots of interesting places to visit and superb wild coastline. The algarve is no more typical of Portugal than the south east is of the UK.
