I remember that Tam that is where I "dropped in" for a chat :)

IMO nothing has changed it is just that it is now July - not quite megga holiday season for the continentals but all the Northern European "Snowbirds" have gone home - I reckon you will be fine parked there overnight (y)

I could be wrong of course - it has been known!! :cautious:

Yes that's right ...just seems strange there not to be any parked there.

I've moved over and tucked in beside a Spanish van that looks to be empty at the minute ...hopefully won't get any hassle
There was a nice bit here for cycling last time and wanted lunch out tomorrow so we will see.
 
Tam, when we were in that area, there always seemed to be some MH,s parked on the top end of Puerta Mazarron. They were up near the shops on the road you use to bypass Puerto to get to Mazarron itself. I shall have a look on Maps to see if I can get a better location.

Edit, can't find the coordinates, but if you get to Lidl, go up to the roundabout that takes you to Mazarron, but turn right on the 332 towards Isla Plana and they are on your right.

Thanks but I reckon I'll be ok here for the night and I like the wee chiringuito accross the street.
There's a couple of smaller vans parked in the corner and a bit van on the street round the corner from carpark so it's probably fine
 
The Secundo Mano shop just along the road may have had a bike if you hadn't got yours sorted!!

Yes I passed earlier and they did have a couple outside ...i stopped myself from looking though as I really don't have the space for a second bike just now that's why I'm glad this one fixed okay as it's too good to just scrap it ....gave it a bit of a clean today and it looks good

Ha ha there's a dude turned up here now in an old 80's hymer ...hes parked right next to the sign and he's outside with a bingo drum and a guitar and he's currently singing prince or Tom Jones "kiss" lol

I walked past with jade this morning it looks to be a Spanish van but the guy is English so I'm guessing an ex pat ....hes sat outside on a chair drinking coffee and singing again lol
 
If your still near Puerto Mazarron there’s a great restaurant right on the marina called Viggos. Do a great menu del dia with a bottle of wine for 10 to 12 euros 3 course and very good

So I'm back in totana tonight under the feet of Jesus:p what safer place to wildcamp ha ha

Jades operation was meant to be tomorrow but got told after I got here it's now Thursday :(

So I've gotta amuse myself here for a day and a half. Roasting here but at least it's a little cooler at night.
 
Caught up today.
A few comments.
Factor 50 for bits
Tell that bloke draining his water that Spain have been eliminated and its all his fault for dumping
Make Jade run through the river again so you can video it for my own personal pleasure
Get the bike fixed at another place (great hindsight advice)

Patience on the pics ...im currently retracing old ground that I've already been to and posted pics of as I'm back in totana.
Jade is having her operation tomorrow and then we will be heading towards Portugal so pics will be resumed then lol

I'm back in the sanctuary of the monestary now after an eventful day bringing the centre of totana to a standstill whilst trying to go shopping ...satnav got me lost in the centre of town then add to that a couple of abandoned delivery vans and a few very tight streets and there's chaos lol

But I got there In the end found a quiet street to stop in while I got supplies
 
Is today the day for Jade?

It's not nice leaving them for general anaesthetic, especially the first time.

We "rescued" our collie from RSPCA in Bothwell. They insist on dog , male or female being "done" at their cost. Took her weeks later to be done . Most worried I have been as I had no control over anything . When we got her back she slept for almost twelve hours with the after effects. When she woke up she went to her food bowl , wolfed down her grub , and all was forgiven:D.
Be prepared not to laugh when she staggers all over the place.
Hope all goes well, let us know.

Ha ha yes but she'll remember the vet visit.

I'm hoping the vet speaks English because I want to ask them something too. ..jades face was all swollen today like around her nose and where her whiskers are ...it was very puffed up for hours ...seems to have gone now and it didn't seem to be bothering her in any way but I don't know what caused it which is concerning
