The times I have searched for my Pen or Pencil in the workshop, looked over & under everything, even resorted to going in the house to find a new one!...Then the wife says, Look its behind your ear, ya silly bugger!

Done the same many times in the past. Doesn’t happen now as I always wear glasses and can’t lodge pencil behind ears. Once ( a long time ago) I looked all over for my pencil and eventually found it in my left hand! Being right handed, I never thought of looking there

I think im losing the plot....ive spent over an hour searching the entire van for a phone charging cable i used just a few hours before. I have literally searched the entire van even stupid places i would never put a cable like inside the kettle in the fridge, ive emptied all the cupboards etc lifted all the cushions ...ive looked literally everywhere and its completely vanished. Im starting to think one of the dogs ate it but ive not left the van or anything i don't know how its bloody possible. But my phone has just 17% battery left and its the only cable i have left that works. Arrrrrggghhhhhhh

I think you may have been subject to one of the of the infamous gassing attacks.

The sad bit is the charging lead was the only thing worth nicking

I have and the freezer inside the oven even in the bloody kettle ...ive emptied everything from a section of the van at a time and searched and its completely disappeared. Its unbelievabl

I lost my charging cable on holiday last September, I swear I put it in the big glove box in our pug with all the others, but to this day I haven't found it. Keep looking every time I get in the van to see if it's magically appeared

Hi Tam, you did a load of washing the other day & hung it out to dry, check all the pockets in your jeans etc, inside socks & pants its amazing the things that get washed with stuff in the pockets, its good that we now have plastic cash notes nowadays, they dont shrink so much.

That was the day after the missing lead. It's now been missing nearly 72 hours ive called off the search as its most likely dead. Dont want to dwell on it like the mccans

After the goat herder had passed this morning we walked from here along the coast to the cave of Franchitti ...its about 3.5 miles away i think ....nice walk but stupidly didn't take water ... gasping i was on return to the van. Puddles sorted the dogs out thankfully. No wind today and it was warm ... spotted a nice wee bay on the way i might move to tomorrow for a swim as its sandy unlike this one which is stones and sore on the feet . Would love to know which rich person has this private island in the bay here. Milo was chuffed with himself as he found a big bone but he never brought it back .

That island (Kalidia Island) looks like heaven on earth to me, large mansion with self sufficient looking gardens, but there are a few others living over there, and there are some Google reviews on it.
I think you can go over to the island to visit as its not all private, however watch what beach you land at, found this review which says it all really.
The motor Yachts moored up are worth a few quid also, lovely run to Cannes from there I bet.

The seat cushions become the bed every night ..theres nowhere near them under them or around them that a 1.5 metre cable could be hiding

Ach jackies disappointed now as its not true ....johhny depp does indeed own an island in Greece he bought it in 2015 for 4.2 million .but it isnt this one his is round in the Aegean . The owner of this one is t famous
