Tam & co the great winter escape

I think im losing the plot....ive spent over an hour searching the entire van for a phone charging cable i used just a few hours before. I have literally searched the entire van even stupid places i would never put a cable like inside the kettle in the fridge, ive emptied all the cupboards etc lifted all the cushions ...ive looked literally everywhere and its completely vanished. Im starting to think one of the dogs ate it but ive not left the van or anything i don't know how its bloody possible. But my phone has just 17% battery left and its the only cable i have left that works. Arrrrrggghhhhhhh

Think it may have run away with the fridge magnet I bought for my friends Christmas. Although that is encouraging me to have a good clear out while I search for it. have done the same with leads thugh and did find one in my toilet bag in the bathroom, don't ask, but if you see men in white coats heading my way please let me know :LOL:

I can't believe you only have one charger lead in the van, ours is littered with them.
Same with us, we have lots of 'back-up' bits ... my main laptop, a spare older laptop and a smaller notebook one, at least 2 tablets, spare phones, sims etc. As for cables ... I could probably reach the moon if I linked them all! Hubby used to take a few spares but since we had some cr@p up on us and our Romy (RIP) bash one in the dash socket with her bum and break it so we ended up with just one for a long holiday he's been obsessed with having loads. :giggle:

I have 3 other cables but the phone is old and the charging point isnt great so i have one cable that doesn't fall out the port like the others do so it takes half the time to charge. The only charge point i have in the back of this van is on the panel that is under the bed when its made up so i wanted my phone charged before going to bed.

Ive still not found the cable ....its like it has literally vanished in to thin air

That hotel looks more like a chapel?
The hotel isn't worth photographing ....but its there 😉

My last phone had this problem, cable falling out. I carry my phone in my pocket and it turned out that the charging port was filling up with fluff and not allowing the plug to sit in it properly. Gentle probing with a needle to remove said fluff and problem sorted.

First place I always check is the back of the driver/passenger seat. Amazing how much they can hold. :giggle:

What us Oldies do, in situations like this, is hunt and hunt around the stores until, weeks later, we find one.

The next day, the original one turns up. Works every time!

(Didn't mean to make light of your situation, I know how bloody frustrating it can be. :madder:)

Have you checked your coat pockets, bin bag, laundry bag etc ?
Might turn up as a doggie deposit
Yep everywhere but cant imagine any of the dogs eating it ...chewing maybe but there would be a trace. But then they have never chewed anything else

Maybe it was the Greek special forces that took it. Apparently an tip off was phoned in about tribble smuggling 🤪👍🥃🧐

The times I have searched for my Pen or Pencil in the workshop, looked over & under everything, even resorted to going in the house to find a new one!...Then the wife says, Look its behind your ear, ya silly bugger!

Have you taken the cushions out of the dog beds? Checked outside?
