Well its been a strange day but no rain today ....quite warm most of the day but got a little windy later.

Better weather than expected today which is good as i had planned to leave today but i can't.

Its been mostly dry though and we've had a nice long walk ... checked out a few of the overlanders. Out of the 30 odd vans here there is now 1 scots , 1welsh, 1french ,1swiss , 1norwegian and the rest are germans .

Your stray dog's prayer

Dear God, please send me somebody who’ll care!
I’m tired of running, I’m sick with despair.
My body is aching, it’s so racked with pain,
and dear God I pray, as I run in the rain.
That someone will love me and give me a home,
a warm cozy bed and a big juicy bone.

My last owner tied me all day in the yard
sometimes with no water, and God that was hard.
So I chewed my leash, and God I ran away,
to rummage in garbage and live as a stray.
But now God, I’m tired and hungry and cold,
and I’m so afraid that I’ll never grow old.

They’ve chased me with sticks and hit me with stones,
while I run the streets just looking for bones.
I’m not really bad, God, Please help if you can,
or have I become just a “Victim of Man”.
I’m wormy dear God and I’m ridden with fleas,
and all that I want is an Owner to please.

If you find one for me God, I’ll try to be good,
and I won’t chew their shoes and I’ll do as I should.
I’ll love them, protect them and try to obey
when they tell me to sit, to lie down or to stay.
I don’t think I’ll make it too long on my own,
cause I’m getting so weak and I’m so all alone.

Each night as I sleep in the bushes I cry,
cause I’m so afraid God, that I’m gonna die.
And I’ve got so much love and devotion to give,
that I should be given a new chance to live.
So dear God, please answer my prayer
and send me someone who will REALLY care.

Seeing the pictures of the dogs makes me wonder about our Paddies past life in Romania. He wasnt skinny but had a few health problems before we adopted him. He is still wary of other dogs and prefers his own company.
If I was in you’re position having made friends with those dogs I would be bothered about leaving them and what would become of them.

The two shepherd dogs are lovely ....also very friendly and i could get a collar on them with ease ...but they are too big for me sadly and too hairy


Also the one i like is a girl and shes still young ....if she's left here and goes in to heat then her chances of rescue gets harder and harder as every male dog here will have a go at her .

Wet start this morning and then the sun came out for an hour then back to rain so im hibernating in the van witha book. Jackie is off ro kiparisi to look for a phone shop to buy a sim card as vodaphone has cut her off again till the 15th . It seems she doesn't get to use all her data abroad afterall which i did wonder about as very few let you do that nowadays

A bit fed up with the rain to be honest but i think its much the same all over just now

If it is a Sim only then definitely not there is a limit I think of 25 GB. But if you had a contract before, as I do have 100 GB, that is still able to be used until the contract ends. Then we all got a worry

From my experience with very wealthy people they don’t mind spending fortunes on big ticket items, with attached blagging rights, but just as the guy next door they hate paying out for normal stuff and paying taxes……
