Having spent a lot of time in jackies company and seeing how she is with just burrying her head in the sand im not sure its bravery lol. Shes a lovely woman and i consider her a friend but its a miracle she doesnt find herself in bother sometimes.She must be a very brave lady to do any of this trip on her own.

Oh Lenny. You are probably correct most of the time, BUT it was -5 showing on the car temp when I got it out of the garage this morning. We had a couple of hours of snow yesterday, then more forecast for Friday. However, by then we will be a bit south of Clermont Ferrand and snow is forecast for Friday, Sunday and Monday. We won't get much benefit from our solar panels, will we?Head North Young man it's a jolly site warmer.

It was 16° over on the coast ...just wet11 degrees in Perth today
But up here in the hills its bloody freezing.

Absolutely freezing overnight last night got a lousy nights sleep between noise and being up and down several times for the toilet ...cold plays havoc with my bladder lol.
Had a walk around the old town this morning but wasn't that nice to be honest so not many pics ..
I did however spot this old beauty
And these two .....i wonder if the owners know that one in front is worth around £30k back home ....very rare beast 4x4
I then moved on heading south again ....stopped here at Koronisia for lunch....very beautiful

Great pictures Tam, the lagoon/sea looks like great place for a Fish Supper or are they salt AND as the causeway seems to end on the island, what's on there?
What model was the Merc 4x4? I didn't know they did 4x4's that size?

Im on the island now where i will stay tonight ....little village on one side and a remote beach on the other.Great pictures Tam, the lagoon/sea looks like great place for a Fish Supper or are they salt AND as the causeway seems to end on the island, what's on there?

The merc was a 709dka ...yes they make a 4x4 the same size as the one i have too but very very rare . And very expensive.

Decided to spend the night here as its stunningly beautiful ... have made a couple of furry friends ...they are both such lovely natured dogs ...breaks my heart to see all these strays ...i wish i could save them all. The big one is s bog gentle placid bugger but he is very skinny and looks like he has a sore eye too. They'd make lovely pets
