Nope ... but still interesting ... we'd been thing about doing it (well before CV hit!) but were put off by the 'risky' Bosnia bit, so by the time we get ourselves there it should be opened up ... unless they take longer than planned again. The main point being its no open
You’re right, it‘s huge, but there are lots of interesting and historic buildings to see. This is the main one. We visited for a few days after our charter 15 odd years ago.Stopped outside split but it just looked like a massive city so kept going.
Some parts are covered by Street view. Like Germany huge areas not covered. Might be something to do with security or privacy laws. Who knows?Wow, no street view, havnt even Google been there?
Wont your green card insurance cover Montenegro? Your trips interesting as we are considering heading that way to extend our winter travels should Morocco stay closed to Tourist from Spain, there is a ferry service from Sete France to Morocco but I do not know if Motorhomes will be able to use it. Another deterrent is the cost!I think she's planning to do the same ...she just wants to push on too.
Will have to buy insurance at border for Montenegro but then i planned to spend a few days there anyway
Friend of mine is touring Morrocco at the moment. He got the ferry from Genoa..bit expensive.BUSBY.Wont your green card insurance cover Montenegro? Virtually impossible to get cover from UK insurers.Wont your green card insurance cover Montenegro?
Why though, what can happen?Virtually impossible to get cover from UK insrers.
I believe some of the Balkan countries, Bosnia / Montenegro are excluded from UK motor policies so you have to buy third party cover at the border or elsewhere. That's ok for some, but if you have a 120k palace it probably focuses your attention on what might happen.Don't want to sidetrack the thread, but not knowing anything about these countries, what is the problem with this next one, what dangers or problems can arise? According to the map it just seems the road carrys on.
It's Chinese so it should be around for a few years. Bob
Only twice i think and once by the douneAre you on a database for your dodgy past, out of the thousands of Fun members you are the only one who gets pulled by the police regularly.
Didn't hang about did yer.
Were there many vehicles on the road?
I thought you had to get 3rd party insurance at the border, I take it you just risked it uninsured.
For the sake of 7 minutes i just risked it.Didn't hang about did yer.

Ill visit more of bosnia when i do a long tour with the vario ....aswell as romania etcThat's another country to tick off the list
Ditto from us tooThat's interesting, I'd heard that before I first went to Croatia but I never found that to be the case.
I always found them quite friendly and engaging for the most part
On one evening I went in a bar full of locals and it was like being in an Irish bar with lots of banter.
