Please don't turn this thread into a policital one. He’s a very decent man…. Unlike Boris
Its in garage tomorrowWe are getting desperate for updates on the van Tam.
Not yet . It doesn't seem to be slipping as the revs never go over 3000rpm ...its rattly though which is my biggest gripe but it rattled before too. It goes away when i press the clutch and its definitely coming from the gearbox area .. but i don't know whats causing it. I assumed it was the thrust bearing and replacing it would cure the rattle but it hasnt .Do they know your unhappy with the new clutch ?
Is this the best caravan grafted to flatbed conversion ever.

Dual mass flywheel (DMF) perhaps? Not yet . It doesn't seem to be slipping as the revs never go over 3000rpm ...its rattly though which is my biggest gripe but it rattled before too. Performance wise im not sure if its just the engine / weight combo .. the hymer was much better but also lighter and not a tag axle. I cant remember how bad my burstner argos was as it was a long time ago . The frankia was the 3 litre engine so cant really compare.
Ill speak to them in the morning see if he has any ideas.
My thoughts too.Dual mass flywheel (DMF) perhaps?
This is a 244 it doesn't have one.Dual mass flywheel (DMF) perhaps?
I was thinking the same only last nightYou realise this "great winter escape" is now approaching the summer solstice!
It looks better than a Bailey, they always look like a cut & job to me.Is this the best caravan grafted to flatbed conversion ever.

How much does a sprinter chassis cab weight 1.8t +1.3t caravan - it's chassis presumably 300kg = 2.8t..... less than many MH and avondales are light our dart 556 was 1300kg mgw.It looks better than a Bailey, they always look like a cut & job to me.
I spotted the joke-
This Is The 3.5 TON CHASSIS - So ANYONE Can DRIVE THIS...!
And if you knock 60 quid off for 3 nights camping it's even better! That’s a good price considering the hassle they had…. Let’s hope it give you some peace of mind now..
When is the rattle most noticableThe rattling i might have to take a drive out to @Razamataz and listen to his hymer and mine side by side and see if its the same or noticeably different.
