Yeah ive been doing that too . They are a bit patchy but maybe 1200 grit wet n dry would even them up.

Tam, I had a rack the same as that if you don’t fancy a scooter I put a KTM 390 on the back it only weighs 140kg

Yeah i was looking at a ktm duke 125 last night as it was only 134kg
A scooter i looked at was 150kg a boatian

Never thought about a 390 but that would be even better

When it gets to about £40-50 we might get somewhere otherwise ill bin that idea

yes,thats pretty normal but from my experience when you give a date to be collected by, as you get on top of it the price drops often as a vehicle coming your way would rather get something£ if they have space than nothing.

I’ve used both scooter and motorcycle and far prefer the bike both touring around and manhandling onto the rack. Added bonus is the KTM is wicked round the European roads especially the switchbacks in the mountains. Don’t bother going for the 125 they are usually more expensive than 390 as they’re learner bikes the 2013 to 2016 in my opinion we’re also a better bike

P.s theres a couple of nice overnight spots around here. One of the carparks has toilet facilities. Theres a no camping in the carpark sign but i think its for tents .

Hmm hit and miss most of the time. Recall still not great but she doesn't run away etc never has , she's just not the best at coming when called , but if i leave a lead attached i can get hold of her when she comes close. I only let her loose when theres no distractions around or theres other dogs to play with as she will follow them if i call them..

Trying not to stress about it i think it will improve as she gets older and calmer. Still has puppy brain at the minute

I think you are doing brilliantly with her. She is obviously a dog who needs time for her brain to grow. The other dogs are obviously her friends and seem to have a positive effect on her.

So i still hadn't recieved refund for the road tax for the iveco that had automatically renewed on the 1st April despite me actually selling it that same day and sorning it the night before.

Kept getting told i had to wait six weeks ...so i phoned back today.

They sent refund to the new keeper. Whi obviously never bothered to tell me.

So hopefully sorted now and i should get it in post over next few days .

I dont know how thsts possible or why they don't just refund it to the account they take it from

My dead body aka bike rack has now arrived. But been painting mums kitchen today and im off hiking again tomorrow so not got a chance to do much with it yet bar strip all the bits off ready to buff all the rust off etc. Thankfully it is all complete and apart from the surface rust it is solid . So will be like new with a good coat of paint.

It's comprehensively lost its coating, maybe he used to park it in the sea!

It was plastic coated but typically it had cracked here and there so he removed all the coating with intent to have it powder coated. Then sold his motorhome.

We hiked up benarty hill overlooking loch leven first. You can see the island where mary queen of scots was held captive by her sister queen Elizabeth 1st before the jealous moo had her beheaded

Then we went for lunch and then down to silver sands at aberdour and done a bit of the fife coastal path.

Dogs all knackered again .
I bought ela mou a kurgo dog pack which im going to try getting her used to so she can carry the dogs water etc when on hikes. Im hoping it will weigh her down a bit and work of some energy. Will try getting her used to it around the garden etc first to see how it goes.
