I don't suppose anyone has a set of fridge vent covers lying around gathering dust that they never use? The previous owner of my fine chariot ..we will call him bodjit bill for now has changed the 3 way fridge to a 240v only fridge....which in itself is good BUT he has left the 2 gaping vents in the side of the van which are not blanked off and they don't half let a draught in. I never used the winter covers on any of my vans as i felt they reduced fridge performance so they just lived under a bench somewhere but theres none with this van.

Better off doing what Manic says, the covers still leave a gap along the bottom.
If you do use vent covers you need secure them properly the standard fixing are naff. I had one dissappear in a Gale with the van on the drive.
I think I've got one spare somewhere (only one) but there are several different sizes.

Tam, please, please put your photos on a thumbnails, none of my tech will open your full sized pics!
No Tam please don't I hate thumbnails.

Sounds like your data is too slow, thumbnails won't help as you will still have to open the pic to full image to view properly.

Yeah i was going to cover them on the inside too. I just figured double insulation if i put covers on outside too

Small area and behind the fridge where the compressor is generating heat, I wouldn't worry about insulation.
