Tam & co the great winter escape

What a brilliant job that is, well done. Have you decided to leave solar controllers where they are? Probably my memory failing again and it was the other electrics that were being moved.

Re the rear light bar. I would keep it, brilliant lighting up the area when you need to reverse at night and light the area for the big party’s on the beach :)

Yes the solar controllers are fine where they are as they can be accessed from inside or outside. It was the display panels for the inverter , battery capacity etc that needed moved up the panel a bit to clear the cushions . That's all done now

tam was the wiring up to scratch that you have seen
Yeah it all seems to be fine , and ive had a look on the roof too and apart from none of the cables being inside trunking its otherwise all good . Panels are well attached and they are mounted on aluminium box section which is glued and bolted through the roof.

That said im going to lower them all down slightly as theres no need for them to be so high. I think he's done that to avoid shadows when rooflights are open

so an all round result glad it worked out for you
Yes all worked out fine

Although i do have to find out what's causing the EML light to come on now and then and investigate a few other bits but overall its all good. By the time ive tinkered and changed a few bits it will be a great van . Ordered some gelcoat filler and restorer etc so i can get it all polished up , new wheel trims on order once ive painted all the wheels etc.

It will look smashing

Probably the injector wiring to no 3 injector

What in the name of god did the previous owner do to the lounge area ? It looked like a Gadget John bodge job special edition ! So glad it’s been sorted out . What on earth was he thinking!

No idea .. we've been saying that the last few days. Total madness. Why do that to an expensive motorhome.

But i think it did me a favour as i suspect it put off a lot of potential buyers. Thankfully the rest of the interior is in excellent condition.

The new van looks great now and the doggies look impressed with their new accommodation.
So pleased to see how you have turned things around in just a couple of weeks from where you were.
Let's hope ela responds to the more intensive training you will have the time to give her now.
Well done fella 👍

I do like the high sofa backs... enabling proper relaxation.
Most MH sofas backs are far too low.
Yes they look very swish don't they ... but it's irritating me like mad that he's put the base cushions in the wrong places so the stripes don't line up with the back cushions!

Well if anyone else wants to experience bodjit bills skills he also has this van for sale .

Double OMG!!!! Where the heck did he nick all the cupboards etc from, they don't flipping match!

Rather a lack of windows ! Especially seeing as how it's got glass in the rear doors, but the insides have been panelled over. Does rather look like you've been imprisoned in a sauna in there........
