Tam & co the great winter escape

Northernraider , Wissel , what do you think of this one please, worth investigating?
My worry would be what's underneath (but I haven't read the whole advert)

There were so many times when a panel that looked to me like it could be repaired was cut away by Tam, only to find a load more rust that wouldn't have ever been seen. Until it had spread.

The unknown was what put me off the idea of a Vario. I likely wouldn't have bought one if Tam's hadn't become available as I don't have the skills or the time to sort the rust out.

Maybe the one in the advert has had the bodywork restored as well as Tam's? No idea.

Lovely looking van though and looks a nice conversion.

Thanks, it certainly is a worry, Mercedes vans from any age do rust like no other lol, but I didn’t know that there was so much which you couldn’t inspect?
The conversion bit looks very high quality , I love the light interior , light oak and fabrics used.

Looking good Tam, what is the scope of works to be done, usually you find other things to do which would be nice to have lol, certainly when the craftsman are at it anyway😇😆
Just relocating all the control panels for the solar and inverter etc at present . But all going well

I know you not looking but look at the price of this without all the battery banks, same layout but 3 years older.

Yeah i think that's probably more realistic. I know i got this at a good price. Considering it has half the miles of that one
