Tam & co the great winter escape

I HATED IT!!!

All those wonderful place and very collectable vehicles that, because of my age and lack of money, I can no longer get my hands on!

I suppose I must wish you luck with the Merc conversion but then, when it's finished, you'll be off galivanting AGAIN!

but seriously Tam, thanks for your experiences and pictures, they were great! (y)

Thank you Tam for this thread we've both been following your travels, envious in a way wishing we could be there, whats holding us back, the unknown?
Thank you for sharing your travels with us.
Looking forward to the next episode, hey what a subject for a tv series.
Best wishes Tam.

Well done Tam really enjoyed following your journey, loved your experiences travelling through all those countries and certainly an eye opener, just got to convince Janie now. 🤔😁

Yes Christian is a one off, normally going on about the French, 😉 but his prices are good, and we always go there if he is on route. 😁

Safe journey home mums got her work cut out, no more sitting around worrying about you, she has dogs to look after. :Eeek:

Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the build 😏 completion now. 😁 Bob.

Welcome back, glad you arrived home safely, enjoyed following your travels (y)

He might be nearly home now but he was still on the 'dogging' spot at 0922 - maybe he wants to stay another night.

Tam,

When you do arrive home, Welcome back and thanks for all your work in posting, flying and photos.

Fortunately we were not as jealous as some, as we arrived back from summer weeks in Greece around the time you were setting off. You should try it in summer, or better Spring/Autumn.

Maybe you need a break before 'The Project'. Good luck with it.

Geoff

Well Tam (Northernraider )I have thoroughly enjoyed your trip and the blog/photo's you have uploaded. Thanks.

Now about the Vario: I can only see any rust is on the NEW BITS you have put on there so obviously the rest of the bodywork is sound. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: (y)

Thanks for taking us along on your trio its not been as eventfull as the last but opened our eyes to Eastern European countries ,thank you now let's get back to the real stuff building that merc

It looks all superficial,l think it’s stood up well considering the limited finish applied because of the restrictions you were under at the time.
Aye ...its the wrong primer i used for bare metal , it was never going to be the final finish but i didn't expected it to be peeling off. The other side is ok so i think that side has just been getting the wind and rain hitting it. Ill remove the lot back to bare metal and etch prime it

Tam thanks for a great blog and photos about your trip. Really enjoyed it especially the pics of old cars and vans etc. Glad you got home safely and mums liking the extra dog. (y)
