Back in the 80's I travelled with my horse and various others to sporting events accross the channel on several occasions. As my horse was a stallion I was always given tbe privilege of travelling on the boat with him (stallions are/were wrongly deemed highly strung and dangerous).The horse boxes/lorries we travelled in loaded along with the rest of the freight below decks.If possible we were parked under air vents and allowed extra room to have our ramps down or partially open.
Back then we were allowed to go/stay below decks as much as we deemed necessary. I recall no alarms going off or other undue noises.
Horses weren't allowed to be loaded if bad weather conditions were expected. Our horses certainly travelled peacefully and happily enough.
Maybe that was before the days of modern alarms or maybe the car decks are noisier.

Trucks don't bother much with alarms,,BUSBY.

Oh i forgot to mention too ...i got the vet to weigh ela too , there was a bit of fluctuation as she won't stand still but it went between 17.5 -18.1kg

She was 16.2 when i found her and 16.7 mid jan when last weighed so i can stop worrying about not feeding her enough and actually reduce her meals slightly. It might help reduce the poop because it often feels like she poops out 2 - 3 times what goes in lol

Are you feeding a grain based food? Lots of poop with that. Try a sweet potato based food. Much less and mine love it. Poodles are notoriously fussy feeders and big one has a very tricky digestion. We found Skylos food and never looked back. Used it for 3 years now. Loads of flavours. We also use their fish fingers. Perfect for cleaning teeth and a much loved bed time treat.

Thanks all for the best wishes etc ... Didn't do much today ...few walks with dogs on the beach , long lie this morning , afternoon nap today lol...not sure why but ive been knackered the last couple of days.

Im at a wee place called st constantine and summit .. not far from varna . Lovely sunny day today .
