I wasn't far off at €60 guage showing just below full line ...but the car filling next to me they were asking someone else in broken english how you got change as they had put in to much.
It wasn't a phenomenal saving as most of the ones in italy seem to be €1.22 at present but at 50+ litres it was about € 6
Better in ma pooch as my dad used to say
No normally with card you just put it in first and it will then take whatever you've used.Do you have to enter the number of ltrs or the amount in € ?
Eh??
I thought you meant people were pre-guessing how much fuel they had to put in, so we're estimating say €70 etc but could only get €65 in.
It's nearly dark here in the north of England. Here ..some bugger might have reminded me that the clocks went back last night
I wondered why my van clocks were different from my phone
Bloody dark at 5.30pm .....that's nae guid

Apparently not......you’re obviously as clueless as all the rest of us old farts.
I don't need any excitement at customs
I have to admit that's not what I'd have classed as an essential itemgoing through customs in Amsterdam last month , we had only essential items in a plastic bag After MH breakdown , the woman put her hand into the bag and s##t herself when she accidentally pushed the trigger of our hand held dyson , we had a bit of explaining to do BUT we all ended up rolling about laughing
It's a country within a countryHang on, you just said it was a country - so you aren't in Italy
Exactly the clocks changing only matters if you're working or having to fit in with others timetables. when travelling I'm just living by the daylight. Glad we're heading South though as we currently have 47 minutes more daylight than my home town just now. Not that I'm countingWork on Tam Time... what does it matter what clocks say?
There's dug time...
If its light go out.
If its dark stay in.
What's stopping you being on the road? BUSBY.Thanks for all the news and photos. They're really keeping us going. You're doing a public service and deserve a medal for keeping us all looking forward to the day when we can get back on the road.
Went to San Marino years ago and thought it was amazing. It's back on the list now.
That's exactly my point though I dinnae like moving to a new spot in the dark so when I set off it was really an hour later than I thought so it got darker quickerExactly the clocks changing only matters if you're working or having to fit in with others timetables. when travelling I'm just living by the daylight. It is. John had an unexplained blackout 18 months ago and had a heart monitor fitted. Nothing happened since and we'll probably never know what happened. We can't go abroad for another 18 months because of insurance (it's an undiagnosed condition) but we have spent a few months touring the Uk.Shame,,that's why we have to return better halves appointment with her specialist, Its a bugger getting older.BUSBY.
I knew the clocks changed but don't know how to change my watch, I'll just have to live with it til I meet a tech savvy child! Here ..some bugger might have reminded me that the clocks went back last night

We looked at that one last year but there were cars parked all the way down the cul de sac and nowhere to park, then we had to reverse out as there was nowhere to turn round. We ended up going a few miles inland and found a sosta with gorgeous views just outside a village on the side of a mountain. We are now in Rimini ....first time ive been on the coast since leaving Lenny HB before i broke down ...so a good 5 weeks
So im looking forward to seeing the sea.
Parked beside a park in a quiet residential area. About 100 yards from the waterfront.
