Recently I have been buying 600x600x50 slabs (usually £1-£3 each) for new oil tank base, garden footpath etc. Often see 900x600x50 slabs advertised as free, but not interested as they are too heavy for one person to easily lay. I don’t want to go for a hat trick in hernia operations!

You could have placed them like ramps so you could get the bus/van up higher to work underneath.

I don't really need that though ... once the body kit is off and the floor is lifted i can access everything

Ive now got a crazy 17 person fall back list lol ....never thought old slabs would be so sought after. The guy i got them from has another 20 -30 in his garden needing gone so im sending these folk to him lol

I posted a set when i opened the new thread with no issues but now ive uploaded 34 pics and wrote 3 bloody paragraphs and it will not post them ...ive restarted phone 3 times closed the site down etc etc ... reloaded them tried again and when i press post it does a few orange flashes across screen and then does nothing .. haven't the time now as im working in an hour and ive spent at least that trying to upload the post.

Will try it tomorrow again ....maybe

On another note regarding the mot ...i think the brake rollers in the testing place aren't very accurate ....each time the other day when the mechanic put it in the rollers to check the brakes it gave different weights etc even though nothing had changed. When i left there on Thursday with the slabs in the boot it had 56% on the service brake but when tested yesterday it had dropped to 54% but check all the axle weights etc on these 3 forms ....all the same vehicle with nothing put in or taken out

I was paying too much attention to all the bad drivers really as it was the first day back on me big bike since last year. Plus I don’t know exactly where you live.

Just fell for that licence scamming company while trying to renew my driving licence online ..
Went on what i thought was dvla website to renew my licence online .... filled out all forms etc entered payment details and only after submitting application and then checking bank to see how much it was did i realise it wasn't a DVLA site at all and these chancers have charged me £93

Contacted bank to cancel and they cant do it till ive spoke to the company ... which of course has no phone number only email address which ive sent 2 emails too and had no reply.
Bank says once the money actually leaves my account they can raise an appeal or something but not before.

Don't know how these companies ger away with this. If i search DVLA licence renewal i only expect to see DVLA website not these chancers

Are you using Google? If so, sack it and use DuckDuckGo instead. I've just searched for "dvla licence renewal" and the top results are all gov.uk

That's a total pain Tam. Mrs Jannyman nearly fell for that a month or so back. Spotted it when she queried how much I'd paid when renewing mine a month or so previously! These lowlife never give up. Hope your bank gets proactive on your behalf.

That's the thing there was no information regarding the amount but i had an idea it was around £10-15 it was only when i went on my online banking to check that i found out it wasn't the DVLA site.

This is what happens when you are harassed and scammers ate allowed to do this

Ill be claiming it back and if my bank does not do it they will be losing a customer as ill be moving my accounts.
I phoned them immediately after i realised to cancel it and i emailed the cowboy company 2 minutes after instructing them to cancel it ...in fact ive sent them 4 emails telling them to cancel it and theyve ignored them all ... despite them sending me 2 emails telling me they had received application etc and any probs email them for immediate reply
