Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

Romania is one of my favourite countries. I have camped there in a tent and also wild camped all around the country in a motorhome about seven years ago. I never had a moments worry. There was a Funster couple who got “trapped“ in Romania at the start of the pandemic and they wrote about their experience on here. And Raul is always very helpful and knowledgeable about Romania.
I think you will enjoy Romania, Tam. I can see you sitting around a camp fire, toasting marshmallows and teaching the Romany Gypsies ”Donald where‘s yer troosers.”
Im hoping i like it because its going to be one of the few countries left outwith shengen ....and we need those now more than ever

That video is scary to watch, but I like a challenge. Aren’t Greek drivers supposed to be some of the worst in the world?
Ive not found the drivers to be that bad .... many drive way too slow with both hands gripping the wheel in fear ...but ive mostly been in the country and not any big cities so it might be different there.

I found the Italians worse

Loving all the travels Tam. Especially the photos because we love Greece although never done it by motorhome. That was goind to be last year!
I'm intrigued though about what you did before the travelling life?
Have you got to go back to work at some time?

Work?

Yeah possibly at some point but avoiding thinking about that for now

Plan to just pick up casual work when home for the next couple of years anyway

Never had a desire to be rich and my cost of living is low so ill enjoy it just now and worry about it later 😁

Thanks. Tam. Sounds idyllic. I'm always pleased to hear when people have their life so well sorted out.

Well i dunno about sorted out lol ....i generally fly on a wing and a prayer these days ....but ive also personal experience of people who planned for the future and died before it came along.
So im trying out living for the moment and leaving the future to fate 😁

Like my ancestors did before society started to make everyone scared of what if.

Ok so theres been development on the puppies.

I spoke with a few locals this morning and asked who owned the pups ....he said the man comes every day at somepoint with his grand daughter ...they told us what car he drove.

So about an hour ago the car went past so we walked up to see him and the dogs as we hadn't seen the pups at all today

The first thing we noticed was there was now only 5 running around ...and the owner said yes there were 8 yesterday and only 5 today ....and just shrugged

So sometime between me taking photos of them yesterday and going up today something has happened to 3 of them ...the brown brindle one , the smaller of the whiter ones and one of the beige and white ones are gone ☹️
The little one i really like is still here at the minute and he came up on my lap again and was licking and biting my hand ....he has nearly all his teeth so i think he is definitely at least 7 weeks old
But now im in a quandry because i haven't decided for sure yet ...i planned to stay here till at least monday and i figured if i was to take one its best to do it last minute before we move otherwise I couldn't take it out etc without its mother and siblings being around.

But im now worried in case it dissapears before ive made my mind up

The owner did say though that the mothers were not available but yes the puppies were

He who hesitates is lost.

Believe in your gut instincts and act on them!
Aye but the problem is my gut instinct keeps changing lol

Snooze you looze. What about Jackie is she having one also. (y)

Tam you don’t need another dog , two is more than enough, if it goes in the next few days then it most likely has a local home therefore not needing rescuing ,
looks like they will ALL eventually get a home regardless of what you do ,
your heart is fighting your head , good luck 🤯

How about inviting Pup into your home and see if he likes being with the others, be a shame to lose out
I might do that tomorrow.
Then your gut instinct is in doubt - so dont do it.
I am in doubt yes ....but only because ive learned in recent years not to jump in to things as hastily till ive thought them through.

No Jackie has decided that as tempting as they are she thinks it may be too early for her and it might end up too big for her .....after discussing it i think she's right to wait

Me .....im still undecided
Go with your head and not your heart.
I will be .....had i been going with my heart id have taken one 2 days ago and be in napfioli by now lol

Its a big decision so ill see how i feel about it again tomorrow

There are plusses and minuses to having 3 dogs and there are things i need to seriously consider

My gut feeling would be not to upset the fabulous dynamic that you have at the moment...but you always do the opposite of what I think 😂
Haha you sound like my mum

But yes it is something im giving thought to as i was lucky these 2 get on so very well.

Anyway Tam, enough about dogs.

Have you made a “move” on Jackie yet?

:giggle:
I’m sure on one of his latest pics on the van you can seen the bedroom blinds looked a bit bashed in 👜

I'm sure you've already considered it.. but imagine him fully grown with you and the other 2 all in the van when back in the UK on a rainy day, when you are working will someone (mum) be happy dog sitting 3 dogs one very young and energetic, can you afford vets bills if one or all 3 got sick at once? That's the main things I'd be worrying about for myself.
