The mothers have got collars on.
There would be hell to pay if someone started picking dogs up here.

You obviously havenā€™t been following the thread , the status of ownership has been researched & established , tam never at any point said he was going to take a dog with a collar

There was in 1985 when I picked up someone's pedigree long haired Dachshund off the street.
I took a lot of ribbing for it at the Police Station but the owner got a tongue lashing off me for allowing their pet pooch to wander outside without a collar.

Oh when you off there, what have I missed, or was that always a plan?
Well it was always the back up plan
Original plan was to get to greece via Croatia Albania etc and return via Italy but that never happened.
Came in from Italy and i hate going back the same way so i now plan to return via Bulgaria romania hungary etc ...that way it also extends my 90 days should i require it .... Bulgaria also has quite low covid ....never been so will just see how it goes

So showing my higorance yet again are Bulgaria and Romania not in the shenigan area?

Thanks Tam, that makes it much easier to visualise your whereabouts (y)
My biggest concern is travelling through the north of greece as its quite bad up there ...so it may be a case of staying in peloponnese till last minute stocking up etc and then making a dash from peloponnese to bulgaria in one or 2 days

Quite bad in what way?
Well i say bad but compared to other countries its actually very good ...but compared to pellopenese where its practically non existent.

The greeks decided to ignore the advice on the epiphany cancellations and the churches had too many people in and all sharing communion spoons ...so the scientists fear the figures will soar in the north over the next few weeks

You could stop off in central Greece and have a quick walk up mount Olympus.

Nice road to the starting point.

And nice views.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I would think your idea of stocking up and then making a dash for it would be a reasonable plan, coz in a moho you can at least stay pretty isolated, as long as you would not be heading to any high risk areas in Bulgaria and Romania.

That video is scary to watch, but I like a challenge. Arenā€™t Greek drivers supposed to be some of the worst in the world?

Romania is one of my favourite countries. I have camped there in a tent and also wild camped all around the country in a motorhome about seven years ago. I never had a moments worry. There was a Funster couple who got ā€œtrappedā€œ in Romania at the start of the pandemic and they wrote about their experience on here. And Raul is always very helpful and knowledgeable about Romania.
I think you will enjoy Romania, Tam. I can see you sitting around a camp fire, toasting marshmallows and teaching the Romany Gypsies ā€Donald whereā€˜s yer troosers.ā€

Sew your pockets up and screw everything down in Romania! I have past experience. :cautious:
When I was working in Bucharest I left my laptop and bag in the car one day when we went for lunch, I asked the driver if it was safe, his answer....................."yes perfectly safe, all our thieves are in your country"
Also don't try the tripe soup specialty
