Well im glad i came back to the coast its a scorcher here today ....inside the van is showing 32° at the minute outside 28°

But i reckon its probably more like 22/23°

Just been chatting with the neighbours he's English and she's french originally , nice couple ... chatting so long i forgot I'd put croissants in the oven and they now solid and black

Lots of stray dogs here 3 or 4 adults and 9 puppies so when they and mine all start barking its chaos here

I think jackie is coming here later so she will be in her element with all these dogs

Hopefully get the drone up for some pics later

My worst memories of Greek wine was a late '70's 18-30 holiday to Corfu. Went to an organised bbq in hills. Wine was served from two open barrels where you helped yourself by filling jugs on table. These were later used as drinking recepticles
Undrinkable on first sip, but after first glass it tasted much better.
The evening ended with a chicken drumstick fight with the Germans on the next table

Just catching up.

Your 'olive oil' was labelled Oinos (wine) lefkos (white) Red is kokino - I cannot change to Greek alphabet on my keyboard.

The octopus has to be battereed minimum of 70 times and washed and scrubbed on rocks/concrete a lot to get the black ink out.

There are a few other Greek habits I could inform you about but not on a public forum. Maybe you will find out for yourself as winter draws on - if you are unlucky.
