Had a hike up to the old archeological site of epidavros limira....an ancient citadel ...pretty much a pile of old stones these days but nice views

Yes and climbs like a mountain goat ...the pair of them constantly have me panicking in case they fall ...they always peering over edges

That's what dogs do. I remember as a kid, we had a Lab, then a Retriever. My mum always used to panic when we were walking near cliffs and we'd all be "it's ok, they know what they are doing" Fast forward a few years and now it's me that panics!!

Yeah they charge about like nutters my heart's in my mouth at times ...but i guess they do have 4 paw drive and lower centre of gravity

Typical ...6 other vans turned up and all parked right next to each other ...10 minutes later 2 police cars come along telling everyone they must move as there are too many vans

Had to pack up and move on to the next spot in the opposite direction to the police lol ....these large convoys of vans are a pest

Yeah the problem is how long do you wait .... its not a great spot thats why we didn't stay there.

It might never go back there for all i know

Tam I have been laid up for 2-3 days and you have now passed Monevasia for which I could have given you some tips Srae you going down to the little port of Gerekas, bit like a small fjord - nice spot and there is an excellent octopus taverna - the one near the start of the village who hangs id octopus in a glass cage not where the flies can get on them.

Next place north I would recommend is Kiparissi about 25 km off the main road but is quite stunning as it lies at the foot of high shear cliffs which have beautiful colours at sunrise. At the far end is a gorge heading inland - good for a ramble.

Let me know if you need spares/hardware etc. and I can point you to some places along the coast as far as Poros/Galatas.

You can't look after every stray dog in Greece Tam. They are everywhere and always look in good condition and well fed, I think the locals must feed them, when we were there never saw a scraggy one.

At last,the voice of reason and common sense.

She may well be a stray Tam but she looks in pretty good shape, it's hard but you can't save them all.
By all means feed her but she is safer if she is a bit wary, you will be moving on in a day or two.

Podney, those words were said by me a while ago in this thread. Tam is a big boy and at the end of the day will make up his own mind.
