Slide and slam the curse of PVCs

2 folding electric bikes, inflatable canoe & kit, tools, spare bedding etc, dog food, beach chairs, tables, pop-up beach sun shade/tent, levellers, water carriers, spare toilet cassette etc etc ... it all adds up, I hasten to add we do 2+months at a time normally in various countries.
Is that all, you are not trying hard enough. :giggle:

Blimey when we cleared our a class garage out, and downsized to a PVC we couldn't believe how much we had collected in 5 years, probably hadn't seen half of it for 3 years. :Eeek:
5 chairs and 2 lafuma recliners a couple of tables, we even had a couple of cadac bbq, plus loads more I blame the bring and buy bargains. 🤔😁
Even got 3 chairs in the van, apparently ones for the dog. 🙄🤐 Bob

Our garage is full but all stuff we use.

Out of interest where do you keep the twin tub washing machine in a PVC?

Think you need a trailer!

I was disappointed, I thought you would have used an Excel spread sheet, then you could have formula, quantities, totals, item weights and most important a date column for when last used :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

I’m not sure what they are doing but I think they are practicing for a synchronised locker slamming event with an accompaniment of clonking furniture from within.
yeah this thing Ive got now has cupboard doors that need a firm slam/psuh to shut them, it crossed my mind about the noise externally

Recently slightly downsized from a class to low profile coach built. Our summerhouse is still stuffed with all the clutter removed and I expect only half if it will go back, not because of less storage, but just unnecessary.

I think soft close will eventually be the norm, we have a V class Mercedes with electric sliding side doors, both have soft close, as does the tailgate 👍

Think I have read that some PVC’s now have it fitted 🙂
Maybe on a professionally built van , many of them are ex courier vans DIY converted

You have a summerhouse in your A class !

remember, his/her name is REALLYretired

Have you also noticed that on their profile they still claim to have an A class, I'll say no more......?

Nope, still go room to spare ... one good thing about changing MHs every now and then is that stuff gets a good sort out so we remove anything that's not been used or is unlikely to be needed ... although I'm still hanging on to the kite in the forlorn hope that one day I'll get to play with it!

You must have thrown out a load of junk as the garage on your van is tiny.

That’s a motorhome with a garage. Most are just a big locker.👍🏻
Nah definitely a garage ... just like those at home which most people put loads of stuff in and never see a vehicle! :giggle:

Semantics. Converters/builders call them garages. I agree they're only big lockers but 'garage' usually means they're big and at the rear which usefully differentiates them from the rest.
I call this my garage….! Dual height storage.
Lovely long storage for , awning winder , broom , mop and of course didgeridoo….
Not enough room for a car though
….😀

Modern definition of a garage:
An outbuilding for storing junk.

We have 3 garages - 2 for cars(plus 'carport' for MH). Then one garage, two basement rooms and three outhouses for JUNK., although that does include about 9 bicycles used or unused. Most of it belongs to Son/DiL family of 5 downstairs.
