Yes there will be something on every evening but I'm still working on the details. Last year we had quiz's, games and puzzles. Yes bring your own tipple, glasses and nibbles except NYE when we all contribute food to a feast.

As you are new to Fun, can I suggest you 'watch' this and the other two threads so get notified of any changes. The option to watch is at the top of the page.

It is with some sadness that we have to pull out of the New Year Meet, which is due to our MH being "effectively sold" with the new owners collecting on New Years Eve. Sorry we won't be there to join in with the celebrations.

Hi All.

We've added the link to monitor the river level to the first post in this thread for convenience. Please note that with care we are able to keep everyone's driving wheels on the roadways, and given the recent weather, would do that. It wouldn't look pretty from the air, (they might think none of us can drive) and may make getting power to everyone a challenge. Please bring the longest lead(s) you have and 13A to 16A connectors if you have them as we plug some people into indoor sockets. I have some 16A splitters to share services if we need them.

If anything dramatic changes we'll post here, but expect to be able to run the rally.

We also have a cash and carry card so are able to get the bacon after JockandRita have unfortunately had to pull out.

Rivers really bad by us tonight riverbanks at Atcham has burst it's banks. The meanders inbetween Cressage and Ironbridge overflowed into adjacent fields at 5.30pm river along Ironbridge looks high but they havnt put the flood barriers up yet. . Its very picturesque at the min hopefully the worst will be over in a few days. . Fingers crossed for you all. Was hoping to pop along for a visit and say hi to everyone over the weekend b ut we have decided to visit friends for the new year. Post Plenty of pics please .

In case anyone is wondering why there are people coming off the reserve list, we wrote to them all to ask if they wanted to stay on the list to speed up communicating with people if others have to drop out. We are grateful to all those who have replied.

Can we also remind everyone that New Years Eve will be a Jacob's Table, or Pot Luck depending on where you are from. Everyone brings a dish of food to share, savoury or sweet and we all eat together. There will be power available if anyone wants to keep things hot. Please make sure that anything containing any of the major allergens is identified as such unless obvious.
