Please note the B5191 has been closed for a while now due to this dangerous building , I am not aware when the road will be opened but will keep an eye on the situation and report back if the road is reopened before Friday as this will no doubt cause problems for funsters coming from the north of the town.
This is what the local paper published.
Tenants from 110 St Michael's Street in Shrewsbury were evacuated after a resident raised the alarm with Shropshire Council and a structural engineer deemed the property a danger to the public.
The authority has now said the demolition will take "a number of days to organise", and about 14 days to complete.
A section of the A5191 St Michael’s Street between the Flaxmill roundabout to New Park Road will be closed to through traffic in this time.
Sultan Road and New Park Road will remain open but are likely to be busy and drivers are recommended to avoid using these roads if possible.
Alternative routes for through traffic have been signposted out of town via Coton Hill and Ellesmere Rd and into town via Telford Way, Pritchard Way, Bage Way and Old Potts Way.
There will be access for anyone needing to get to their home or business along St Michael’s Street for the period of the closure.

Is that the road before the low bridge dont know names of streets

I think we come down Berwick road and turn right into gravel hill is this Ok

Thanks for the heads up (y) looks like most of us will be coming down the Ellesmere road A528, worth keeping an eye on the news/maps or whatever your favourite is.

Jev88 Twocan that was the route I was giving you so double check(y)

If you don't come into the edge of town and under a railway bridge you should be OK Polly. I think you will come down the Ellesmere road and turn right into Berwick Road so just before the low bridge so will still be OK coming this way.

I’m assuming that the Morelos and Sonics have those ornate poles with velvet cord round their enclosure?? Asking for a friend :whistle2:
That will be the one with the optional "thunder box" servicing.
