In the Canadian you can sit or kneel DavidIs it sitting or kneeling Martin ? Bev fancies it but certainly can’t kneel knee op hopefully August
I will check what the singles Kayak are sit on or sit in?Yes please for the canoe trip two of us prefer two singles but will d
Go with a. Twin if needs be
Also a yes from Pete and sal so four altogether
No David, not all Canadians require you to kneel. I would go from seated to kneeling if there was a bit of bumpy water ahead or a tricky bit coming up. Then back to seated when back on smooth water.By deduction does that mean Canadians are kneeling? It was the very stable bit Bev fancied, but can’t do knees
I might canoe upstream from the showground with my dog and meet Martin et al somewhere - depending on how fast the river is. Unless there has been a lot of rain it should be manageable. I did row it many years ago.We would like to do this. It cannot think how to get our kayaks to the start point. Any idea what time setting off on the river would be?
I was thinking that too, as we will take our dog with us. As you say, as long as the flow is not too strong.I might canoe upstream from the showground with my dog and meet Martin et al somewhere - depending on how fast the river is. You will have no problem going upstreamI was thinking that too, as we will take our dog with us. As you say, as long as the flow is not too strong.

You can take GertieI should have said earlier I think I will be on my own so if anyone wants to come in with me and do all the hard work that would be good
I think that will be our plan then, pack a picnic, set off after the group has left in the mini bus and meet you on the river somewhere. Do you know where you are stopping for lunch from past experience, or just keeping your eye out for a suitable spot? You will have no problem going upstream
Sounds like a plan last time we did it we stopped in a field on our right about half way, difficult to be more specific though.I think that will be our plan then, pack a picnic, set off after the group has left in the mini bus and meet you on the river somewhere.
