Being next to the River Severn it would be rude not to take canoes and have a little mess about on/in the river, if there are enough takers we could organise a river trip again in hired Canadien Canoes, other than that it is just a social gathering with a pleasant riverside walk into a beautiful town, the show ground also have the fishing rights but I know nothing about fishing seasons etc and keep your hooks away from my inflatable
We have had a rally here previously to coincide with the Family vintage show but sadly this has been cancelled again for this year, we have provisionally booked space for 30-40 vans but they are usually quite flexible with space.
Electric hook up will be available so please just for starters indicate that you are interested in attending and yes/no to electric, I will then post the per night cost and booking details at a later date, also indicate if you are bringing some sort of canoe/kayak and wether you would be interested in a organised trip in hire canoes, no previous experience is required for the canoe trip.
If any groups want to pitch together and do their own activities knitting and nattering, crotchet and nattering or just nattering that will be fine just say, it's your rally so do whatever you want

Our cat Shankly is a house cat but he will go out with a harness on and is happy in the car or Motorhome as long as we are with him. He has wrecked our home carpets when he has got himself shut behind a door from the hallway, and to to wake you up at some ungodly hour he will start to claw at the end of the bed. Thats why he is restricted to the kitchen overnight these days, unless we miss him sneaking upstairs that is, he can move like lightning.
We are always envious of those that have placid cats that are happy to sit all day in, or under the van, Bobby would be in the next town unless leashed, and I wouldn't want to even try putting a collar on him, giving worming tablets requires gauntlets or a visit to A&E.
TinaL is buying a shoulder harness this week, to try and break him in so to speak, that will be a laugh.

I have closed the reserve list as we are already well over the numbers I really wanted and most people have now confirmed their bookings so the chances of me opening the reserve list again are non existent SORRY
Right you lucky 6 as quoted above are the last ones to get in so it's time to make your booking with Jan at the showground, she is only in the office Wednesday/Thursday so the best way is to send an email to Jan manager@westmidshowground.com and she will call you back to take payment,
