Other that the bottled cow pat sauce you referred to, the bread should be lightly toasted and heavily buttered, so the butter runs down both your chin and you arm, dripping off your elbow

I’m definitely unsmoked white bread (not thick cut) no butter bacon cooked medium/well done. I cut the fat across with scissors so that it doesn’t curl and you get an even fry!! Topped with HP sauce ( I don’t recognise any other brand of brown).

Apart from that I’m not really fussed!!
