Be warned... It's breezy. Rained earlier but drained straight away.

We've been here since Tuesday. It's all weathers in one hour from scorching to flash cloudbursts but the ground is good.
We've got some great offers for funsters so come and see us early so you don't miss out.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in sharing a taxi to Wells tommorrow if we could get one, the coach tickets are all sold out.
 
I would like to say it's lovely weather here at Shepton with everyone sitting outside socialising.

I would like to say that but it's a long way from the reality. 😟 Forecast looks better for tomorrow. 🤫
 
Might it be a good idea for those going into the entertainment, to meet and go in as a group? At least that way we may meet each other.

A very pleasant afternoon around Robin and Hilary’s van. With biscuits and cake provided by our host’s Good to see Funsters enjoying their self’s in the sun. Let’s hope the good stays with us.

The bowl for Katie's charity collection raised £53.09. I will post again when I have banked it. Thanks to all who donated.

Rally apart we popped along to the show today for a curious mooch around. What a disappointment. It must be a quarter the size of it's previous incarnations. A few accessory traders doing slack business and Motorhome Traders trying to flog the few 2nd hand stock vehicles they had. None of the major manufacturer stands at all. Spent all of an hour there and left. Just proved what a slack depressed market it currently is.

I think the problem is that the dealers have no stock at their bases so why would they drive vehicles they can sell in a breath all that way.

Did you see the prices of the vans they did bring? Crikey. Eyewatering.

I liked the Knaus on the Man chassis. Unusual. A snip at £82k

There is a couple of Joa camp motorhomes here. For order spring 23. £69k for a budget van. Wow!

Had a great time thanks for all the hard work.

Now please tell me the we are not going mad. Did anyone hear a helicopter in the early hours of the morning flying very low over the site? We thought it was going to land on the roof. Others we have asked did not hear anything.
 
Thankyou to the Meanders for such a lovely get together, along with the amazing cakes. Really appreciate your hard work in setting things up and showing us where to park.
