I've friends in marmaris Turkey just now getting 25/6 degrees daytime. We were the same with our French holiday home, we got to the point where we were going back to the same places time after time and spending more time weeding and painting than relaxing. It also not as sociable because people dont tend to sit out where passers by can chat. Although it more difficult now more UK people have foreign registrations.
following Northernraider remarks about Greece, Ive just checked what Crete weather is doing ( being furthest south) and its OK but not as nice as here and not quite warm enough to lie on the beach so what would you do?

Get yourself a wee fan up the town tomorrow Garry
A fan just moves the hot air around.Get yourself a wee fan up the town tomorrow Garry
Is that like the ones you put plain water in a container and with the fan blowing air over it, it helps to cool the air? If so I don't think I'd want to use wee. Unless of course you're taking the urine.Get yourself a wee fan up the town tomorrow Garry
