What Jon is saying Garry, is that Morocco is not in the Schengen area, so days spent there do not count towards your 90 x days. That's how he and Sue can be out of the UK for 180 x days at a time.

Did you get parking in Essaouira The Boofles ? The last 3 years it's been impossible to park near it except for the big Carrefour

Carrefour is having construction on the car park I parked on the south of town and walked along the front tin to the medina…
Saw lots of motor homes in the streets parked ..

Wonder are they turning a blind eye a bit at the minute because they were very strict the last few years, the last time I was there I stayed in le calme campsite and rented a motor lol

Aye there's 2 guys rake the bins outside this yard every morning . The van next door to me removed a stick on solar panel yesterday . It was knackered bit some guy cycled off with it this morning lol

Ady he’s not even close to selling it I had an inkling of going and I thought I’ll digest all Gary and Tam tell me but I’ve made up my mind I’ll stick with Spain and only have 90 daysPS I did go late 70s I thought it might be better now.

Avoid the big towns and the guardian parking and you can find the odd peaceful places.

But it's definitely different lol. Thats why I can't be arsed moving as much . I'll leave the garage parkup tomorrow and drive the 50 yards to the palm tree wild spot for a few nights so I can have a look around town and visit the painted rocks etc.

We passed through Agadir recently but only stopped for a big food shop as don't really like big cities and though it was late afternoon and we did need somewhere to stay we couldn't see anywhere suitable within several miles of there so we headed inland and had a quiet wild camp in hills for a night.

Sorry Garry that you had a bad night but staying in a random carpark on a Saturday night in a major city you could experience antisocial behaviour in a UK city just as easily. Maybe not the bribing the police part though as you'd probably not see any police

There is one carpark in Agadir that's OK, I stayed in it for 2 nights 2 years ago but noticed this year there was mention of someone claiming to be a guardian so I stayed outside agadir drove in next morning free parked and visited the medina . Its not a pretty place anyway . The medina is big and worth a visit but tourist prices for everything so better going to the towns either side of it.

French convoy hit Tafraoute today too .. must have been at least 12 of them pulled in to the palm parking. A few have been up here looking to have bits done too.

I'm planning to leave tomorrow if momo the boss guy turns up to get paid...not seen him since Friday

Even carrefour has no motorhome signs now Paul.. unless its a campsite motorhomes are banned after 8/9pm

Lots of daytime parking , just can't overnight.

Campsite I stayed in sidi kouki last time wasn't there this time either and a ban on the wildspots I stayed at

I’m glad I’m doing Morocco now, wish I had done it years ago just like I wish I started van life earlier as I’m sure Morocco will end up like Spain, vans banned on sea fronts. See loads of new construction on the seafronts of these towns and a new generation moving to them and won’t want to see people emptying their cassettes on the beach…

At least we got to wild camp on the beach on the Camargue before they banned it.
And quite a few wild spots in Portugal.

Just want to say a quick thank you to all those following this thread and the likes and loves you’ve given my posts, I didn’t think I’d keep it going for as long as I have but the interest in it is appreciated…
