Drove through Santa Pola to day and it was heaving, looks a nice place too loads open considering it’s a holiday today..

El Pinet camper park, we love it there, owned and run by a Dutch ex (SAS) Stormtrooper type bloke and his lovely family.

I’m just wishing we were down there in that area as it bloody crap weather here at home

Yes we went there this morning Al, Doug I think his name is, they had no room but took my number, I did service there though, it does look a nice site…

He was looking at my hand controls as he’s dad was in a wheelchair, had a good chat with them…

his name is Koen mate, they really are a lovely family

Thinking about it it’s a fine gravel camperpark so you may struggle, they have a mobility scooter and even a free hire car, you just pay 40c a mile

A lovely little onsite bar and La Marina village 2/300yds away

Yeah the gravel was deep in some places and I saw the scooter, seen a few camper stops with them now mainly used to tow the waste water hogs…

Thought I’d saw Doug written somewhere but not surprised as I get names wrong all the time Bob…

Had to put the air-con on today it was that hot in the cab on our drive today… not done a lot and not a lot has happened.

In that place that people call marmite, La Manga… it’ll do for a few nights to watch F1, washing and a few bits on the van…

Had a call from my neighbour and a front and back fence is down… she’ll sort it but it’ll have to wait till I’m back to get done..

Only exciting bit was my dinner….

You should run the aircon on every time you use the van unless you want expensive repair bills. Not using it is the easiest way of buggering it.

I raked a pathway to my van of the gravel as it’s deep and a pain in the chair… this little’un is pinching it…
