Must've been her husband trying to have the lads round whilst she was working!Popped into Lidl on the way back and at the till the woman on it suddenly ran to the entrance door and grappled a bloke with a case of beer to the floor and came back and carried on like nothing happened… why can’t they do that back home…
OoooOoOooOOOooO .... you'll be for it now when Tam's pooches see you again ... are there any other appendages you can do without I wonder? In an oven….
So went in one we found appealing and ordered drinks, I asked the waiter for a bottle of Mahou (pronounced like a cow sounding like a cat Mou..) and he couldn’t understand, now I’ve never had a problem before in all the years with my pronunciation of it and I pointed to the big sign and asked what is that and he said exactly the same as me
Rules are not for Germans or French. Now at Geldo on the free aire with services which specifically states no camping behaviour allowed but obviously the German can’t read Spanish or English…
There is excellent free Wi-Fi here which is why I’ve been able to upload all the pictures…

Looked it up, 9 different species apparently. Some they catch on the fly. Not all bottom huggers (ooer) like the ones in UK.Think they are barbel Garry.
Great photography Gary. I was skippering a yacht in a severe gale 9 and nature was soo powerful. Didn't like the thought of a full storm after that. It made me realise how trivial we are in the grand scheme of nature. Good luck

I saw some in an embalse in Spain years ago, sunbathing on the top, they were huge.
Have you got your gear Garry?
Trot a hook & line down with the flow and a piece of bread as bait, rap the line around a stick of wood so it doesn't cut your hand and you might supper? No I haven’t…
Interesting about the tyres. If they are all season does that mean they will be legal areas requiring the use of winter tyres. Also are they noisier?Fairly long drive down today and parked up near Alicante..
Popped into obramat and I could spend all day in there… it’s b&q on steroids…..
I bought a meter of 25mm cable just over €3 and some lugs again €3, I did think about cutting it up and going back into the store and using the crimpers they have for sale but thought it a bit too cheeky so I bought them at €35.. I’m sure they’ll come in handy again….
I want to replace the cable as I might upgrade the inverter if and when I go lithium and just so there’s no possibility of it getting warm again..
Just an update on the van is it seems to be driving much better on the newish tyres now (maxxis van smart all season) nice and quiet and got 34mpg and just driving like a dreams and purrs along….

Well it is only 24° which isn't very warm . But for mountain water at this time of year its a lot warmer than it would be normally.Left benicàssim yesterday and went to Montanejos as it looked interesting from Tams Account and he said I could get around easy enough which I could after the very steep hill to get down and back up but it gave me and Cintia a workout…
It was indeed lovely there and the water was supposed to be thermal and although it wasn’t freezing it was not warm at all, I think a thermal water spring just runs into the main river as the water from the font was warm’ish …but there were a few people swimming… and the associated screaming confirmed it was cold… plenty of fish in there but couldn’t figure out what they were..

These trees, every single one had a massive amount of initial carving on them, I’m surprised they still grow…
